Hi Angie. Really enjoy your videos. Loved the Great Lakes ones a lot and I am excited about more videos from your duty station. I was originally assigned to a ship like this in Japan. I remember being excited in bootcamp when I heard the news. Then they cancelled because I couldn't get a security clearance due to being a non-citizen. So they sent me to Gaeta , Italy, where I served on the USS Lasalle, a ship currently on the bottom of the Atlantic (not my fault). This must be the same class of ship I was on. Welldeck and catwalks are identical. Our welldeck was never opened to the sea. It housed a big old' barge for Sixth Fleet officers.
