- Art has always been my passion till today, I just wanted to share with you a little of my art progress from age 9 to age 20.
I have so much more drawings than what I showed in the video, Just wanted to make it short and simple（⋆＾－＾⋆）

from 1 to 4 years old - *draws on the walls and floor*

i hate when people say "you were lucky you were born with talent to draw"
THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS it takes alot of practice and time ^-^

And also while you are practicing, please dont ignore to learn about the anatomy of humans/animals or whatever else you are trying to draw. If you dont know how human anatomy works, you will never get good at drawing humans no matter how much you practice drawing. Because practicing drawing only matters if your practice is based on correct , rather than incorrect, information.

I started drawing when i was 5 i drawed patotoes
I started when I was 7. And now I’m 16 ( my drawings went through a massive glow up when I was 14- like I could draw faces pretty well)

Hey, I realise this videos a few years old. I just wanted to say that you're an inspiration. I've been watching art videos for the last few days, trying to motivate myself to draw again. Your progress is incredible, looking through your teen work, you can see the exact spot where a switch flicked inside you and your ability went up three levels, then to carry it over to realism is amazing, and do the same again. I've not put pencil to paper in about ten years, but your work is part of my motivation to start again

I've been through an art block once, you just have to find what truly inspires you to draw, whatever makes you happy, you can try new things out and see what you enjoy to draw the most :) I hope you'll start drawing again very soon :D ~!

I'm 20 and used to love drawing when I was a kid. and I remember getting praises from my classmates and family whenever they see my art. now, I cant barely draw a nose. I'm crying. I feel like its too late to go back now.

Wow, 3 years ago is about the time I started taking drawing seriously. I remember finding this video and I used it as motivation whenever I felt like I just couldn't draw. It helped me draw even after months of not drawing. Seriously, it's amazing to see the progress. This video has given me such insparation and motivation, and if it wasn't for this video, I don't know where I'd be today.

that gives a lot of lesson just in one video. one of them is that, if you can't be as good as another person, or can't draw nicely, you just haven't find your art style or just haven't practiced long enough/hard enough.

i remember watching this video when it came out and being so inspired! 4 years later and my old self would be in awe in how far i’ve come haha,, it’s so easy to feel demotivated about your artwork if you compare it to others, but looking back through my old dketchbooks has shown to me how far i’ve come :)

This is a reason why practicing drawing is the best way to learn.

I can't draw head shapes with out using references but I can do eyes and noses and ears. (Hair just depends on the style)
I draw my old oc's but then I forget there name is....When I was freaking 6 my drawings look bad!!! When I was 6 I was a sansfangirl and I drew my freaking skeleton oc!!! (ÒmÓ) But then i drew some new drawing style and then one of my classmates just ruined it!!!
Is it coincidence or what. I also started my drawings with Anime and cartoon characters then with time it changed to semi-realistic then realistic. I think most of artist have this case.
God Eater I have never been into anime... I love realism and hopefully that won't change!
i would say that the reason most people start off with anime or cartoons is because they’re easier to draw because the shapes and lines are clear (unlike realism)
it may also have something to do with the more “cutesy” anime and cartoon drawings that catch the eye of young kids
I started off with anime because another girl was really good at it and wanted to be that good. Anime wasn't working out for me, so I went with a more simplistic art style. Then I went to a more WalkingMelonsAAA style and after that I practiced a bit of realism and after that I went back to cartoons. I'm practicing realism a lot more now, and I'm improving. This was in the spam of three years, so just even one year can take you so far.
I love all aspect of arts.. But I hope I stay with Anime ^-^.. #WeebLyfe
