I have seen auto-steer on tractors on many RUclips channels such as 'The Millennial Farmer', 'Welker Farms' etc. on their fields the sizes of a UK county, but your test in the yard with the tractor steering itself through a gate and along a track really made the technology look very impressive and it is impressive of course. I think this is the first time that I have truly appreciated the technology. Fantastic video George.
I know this is great tec but theres someting about this that feels wrong I feel that the TW should stay as it was. Anyway thats just me thinking old school should remain old school. Great vid as usual. 👍
Excellent video George and great installation, I expected a couple of phone calls during the install but didn’t hear a thing.. nice and simple as you say. 👍 Well done! 👍
Cheers Elliot, you can tell some thought has been put into it with simple things like the plug identification on the wiring loom👌and you get a camera with it rather than an option. Can't wait to get it in the field 👌
Considering it took 3 hours.. And it works on old tractors too.. Its extremely advanced..... Amazing to see technology like this available to anyone no matter of the machine
A quality bit of kit, I’m looking forward to seeing it all working in the field. I have never operated such a thing, the NH I was driving was as basic as they came, I would like to try it all out one day. Great informative video mate
Are you going to get a couple of spare wiring looms so you can put it quickly onto the fastrac and one of the T7’s. Can see Liz wanting to pinch it for the combine 😂
Well done makes the tw added future of technology well set up but to be honest every tractor has to use the technology with fertiliser spreading, spraying, acerage management in cutting, slurry, bailing for contracting that tractor has doubled in price for you nice job👍👍
Nice One George Looks a good kit Interesting to see how you get on with it think that's the same as Olly Blogs has on his ride on mower Enjoy the rest of the weekend Thanks again
When we worked for a Massey dealer in the 80's we were told not to drill into cab structure because then the insurance would be void, suppose things are different nowadays
@@GeorgeSaunders Just saying what Massey Ferguson and the insurance firms told us, suppose it doesn't matter with our old classics but if someone goes and drills the cab of their brand new £200,000 tractor and invalidates the insurance then i would say thats quite a daft thing to do
Hi ,looks very simple to install, I would assume keeping the steering wheel fixed could be a issue, with some tractors ,do they supply the correct fixings to do so ,as with a brand new tractor, you wouldn’t want to use an exhaust bracket , other than that all looks good , it will be good to see it working out on the field , great video, just waiting for the next episode 👍🚜
There were various different brackets supplied with kit, I'm not sure about brand specific, like as you say an exhaust clamp wouldn't be suitable on a new tractor, I've got some other tractor's to fit it on so I'll find out. But you can also get it installed by ERH services who will take care of all the set-up 👍
I'm not a massive fan of this new technology I understand its need with prices of sprays and fertiliser going through the roof but it's the farm hand the farmer land owner's skill and self satisfaction that he or she drove a straight furrow Roll line . I was driving tractors 🚜 30 years ago and took great pride in my straight lines when ploughing or rolling. What do you think mate
Hello George it looks a cracking setup will the good lady have it fitted when she comes out of hospital yea the thieving scum love nicking them cracking video keep up the good work 👍👍
Looks a great nav system, a great upgrade for TW . Good installation. Well done George 👍 🔧 🚜
Appropriate comments, hats off to George for embarking upon contemporary technology. 🚜👌
That's really great George!
Cheers Jan👍👍👍

Thanks George great vid sir and a nice bit of kit... Take care...
You will love the auto steer. It will save you fertilizer and seed and a ton of fuel!

Very nice install George. With all that spare hands-free time you can take up knitting in the cab mate😂
More like I'll be able to fly the drone without crashing it as often 😂
@@GeorgeSaunders 😂😂 ✈️ good man
Happy easter George and Liz

Super excited to see this in action in the field, great video!

What an upgrade for the TW,all the best with the new set up💻⌨🚜👍
Another great video George hope you @ Liz have a good weekend 👍👍👍
Are you going to get a couple of spare wiring looms so you can put it quickly onto the fastrac and one of the T7’s. Can see Liz wanting to pinch it for the combine 😂
Yes that's the idea it would only take half an hour to change if you had the wiring and brackets already in place 👍
Need one on the fastrac for tanking

Hi’ George nice to see the old TW getting some new technology installed, should come in handy 👍
Neat installation 👏🏻 looks a good bit of kit. Well done 👍
A very modern addition to a Classic. 👍👍🇬🇧
Lovely looking bit of kit for your classic TW25 George. Brings it totally up to date! Your cab windows need cleaning 😂😂
I know Trevor 😂 I did the windscreen quickly so I could see out of it!
Top job, looking forward to seeing it in action.
Excellent video George, looks like a great piece of kit!

You made that look easy George
Great Video George! the GPS system looks like a good idea, thanks for sharing
The JCB is next.
Great video George, with some even better camera angles and filming 😂👍
Yeah I think the chap who did the filming should give up his day job and become a cameraman 😉
(Hoping you remember my comment awhile back)
Now you and Mucka can take the TW to the local 🤣😂🤪😜💪🏻🤟🏻👊🏻❤️👍 nice work mate.
I do!
jobs a guud un look forward to seeing it out in the field
You say it only has to be done once George what about if you disconnect the batteries has it got its own memory back up power?
Yes it will remember it
Great job George, well wear, Happy Easter to You and Liz👍🙏🐇🐣🙂
Nice job.. very tidy install 👌. Hope it manages to get a signal through the power smoke 😅... stay safe sir 🏴
Another great video George looks the business and 👍🚜
I recognise that yard, I was parked near that Red trailer by the Pond lmao 👍👍🇬🇧
Good day mate 👌
When we worked for a Massey dealer in the 80's we were told not to drill into cab structure because then the insurance would be void, suppose things are different nowadays
Actually that’s true, heard that myself.
Does it do inches George, not kidding.
I wondered how long it would be before someone picked up that.

Very Nice George, now you can read comments while plowing lol
and fly the drone 😁👌
I take it you will put it, on the fast track as well, and would they supply you another wiring harness for another tractor.
That's the plan, get another loom and brackets for the screen and receiver, it wouldn't take long to swap.
@@GeorgeSaunders looks a good simple system, I have got a free app on my phone with GPS I am not sure if it going to work but looks good.
Put up your own FreeRTK station for about 300 quid, quit paying for subscriptions ;)
re bonjour George encore une belle vidéo , le Ford va être au top , bon courage a toi pour la suite 😍👍👍👍👍
Nice little job mate 👍

Did the tilt still work on steering column after installation?
To job george 👌👍
Is the chcnav auto steer kit the same as smajajyu jy305. They look the same... Thanks
doe's the CHCNAV monitor work with newer tractor with built in auto steering
Hi George. Do these kits come with multiple steering shaft spline adaptors to fit different tractors?
Not really, you just specify what adapters you want when purchasing the kit👍
nice any more news jcb
Looks a good system, bur for me I’d want a steering valve and keep my original wheel !
I know what you mean, but you're talking a lot more money 👍
👍👍👍
A good way to get Ford back on track after losing their way.😉
I see' the air con is working 😅
That’s doubled the value of the old girl....haha
Surely with this modern technology there are ways of preventing theft. Removing should not be the solution....
so the old tw was built in belgium. ps you sound a bit like jonathan ross. hope you are not offended
I'll take that 😂
