Just saw the trailer on a morning program. Literally burst into tears of laughter at that last line that Adam Sandler says: "That's why we fought the Nazis! So you can have a mojito bar!" I always hate movies like this. But this looks absolutely terrific! I can see from those close-ups that those girls are gifted genuine actors. I'm totally going to watch! Looks fabulous.
My family watched this film on Netflix today. It was great. It’s a rarity in that it is a movie everyone can watch. Sarah Sherman was hilarious. Sunny Sandler is a natural. 10 thumbs up.
My daughter Sarah had her Bat Mitzvah on August 19 th, in Montreal, a few days before the release of this movie on Netflix. We watched it together and loved it❤ We were surprised to even see one of the daughters of our Rabbi in one of the scenes in the classroom.

This is the best movie ever!! Couldn't be anymore perfect timing for it to come out with my almost 11 year old daughter dealing with school, bullying, & learning to be a cool girl stuff. This really helped her to see things differently, & learn about being jewish which she thought was so rad. I cried during Lydias entrance video both times it was shown bc it reminded me of how cruel girls can be in middle & highschool, & how easy it can be to want to take revenge on even your own friends. The video shows years of their amazing friendship and how easy a boy or being cool in school can change that. I loved the movie beginning to end every minute.
I like how all the Sandlers were grouped together in the closing credits. Just seen this film; that entrance video was mean, and it wasn't Lydia's fault her friend jumped into that lake.
This is literally now one of my favourite movies. It perfectly captures a moment we've had where we know we messed up, and we have to own up to it. Great great film. Super funny. ❤

At first I thought it was kinda shallow but when they started getting into her emotions and everything I was surprised by how complexly gratifying this was! The acting in places felt a little off as well as some of the styles of filmmaking but overall worth watching!

Coming of age/teenage girl stories aren't really my type of content, but I gave it a watch because it's an Adam Sandler movie. I really enjoyed watching it. It's a family movie but it definitely has that Happy Madison charm. 🙂

Why th are all comments bots?
Because everything is an advertisement. There was an old sketch from the 80s involving a talking Coke machine. A guy just wants a soda and the Coke machine says “have you seen Ishtar??? It was really funny!” Ishtar is pretty funny but at the time it was a notorious bomb. Bots making comments about a mediocre Netflix movie is the evolution of that joke. Everything else is marketing

At first I thought it was kinda shallow but when they started getting into her emotions and everything I was surprised by how complexly gratifying this was! The acting in places felt a little off as well as some of the styles of filmmaking but overall worth watching!
I'm not Jewish, I'm not even religious, and it seems a little creepy for me to say this, but this movie was just delightful. The Rabbi was the topper.
