@@nasirykhan627 Wa alaikum aslaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. No sister or brother we should not contract ourselves or make ourselves too uncomfortable while in sujood. It is best to be moderate. If u want u can see the proper praying methods told by sheikh Assim al Hakeem . He says multiple ways of doing a part in Salah and u can choose from them. Inshaallah may allah accept ur dua and prayers.

hi, this video was really useful as a 16 year old who is thinking of reverting, and is having all their final exams during ramadan. I want to try and fast ramadan, but i live in an unsupportive household so will not be able to change when i have meals on some days which means i may have to break my fast. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to deal with this, and what to do if this situation arises (eg. should i make up the fast another day?). I also plan on reading the entire quaran during ramadan as well xx
@Desert Khabibi thank you for yhe advice! i was unfortunately only able to fast a few days of ramadan due to some unfortunate circumstancea but have been trying to read 5 pages of quaran every night recently, which i have enjoyed. I definitely want to consider fasting every thursday as this is the easiest day for me to fast on, so thank you for the suggestion! my parents arent particularly against islam, they just arent very religious in general, but hopefully one day we will be able to discuss it more :)

Hiii i just converted to islam so i don't know abt many things or words like you said we havw to stay up till late for prayers in ramadan i tried to get info from google but i didn't understand that properly so how can i get to know abt this?? And i am not consistent in prayers as i live with my family and my family is hindu and noone knows abt me converting to islam so its very hard to pray as my room's door is always open so i try to pray while sitting and sometimes i miss my prayer unintentionally and sometimes i know it's prayer time but by mom stays there with me so i cant pray i don't know what to do and i am so lasy and phone addicted and i'm 18 so i really don't want to tell them as i need to be independent first

How many of you can study while fasting? I just get so sleepy during the day but after iftar I didn't have enough time..

i start studying after eating dinner (12-3 am)
i sleep after suhoor and wake up at 10
i study from (10:30-12:30pm)
and revise after iftar
