Everyone talking about the main battery, armor and secondaries, but let's not forget those hard working lifeboat crews on the sides for when the inevitable happens.
I'm so looking forward to getting the tier VIII, Ipiranga. According to ship tool, it has the best acceleration of any BB in its match making bracket, ie. tier VI through tier X.
Love the Atlantico. The power of those secondary guns absolutely goes to town on everything. This thing is a like a Tier 10 Atlantico with added buffs. And a commander designed to build into the secondaries. Oh baby. This thing is absolutely a pain train coming through.

It was turning away from me and already fairly angled, but two shells still made it through to the citadel. So it looks like being yet another ship where the op F key is 'balanced' by serious citadel vulnerability.

Having looked at the armour scheme again, I think the two shots must have gone through the stern 32mm and then through the rear athwartships plate, which is thin compared with many BBs. Probably just caught it at the right moment in its turn!
That new mission to get the new captain Joaquim Marques Lisboa Is a fucking con.... In beginning it wanted one duplicate per piece of the 60 puzzle. Now all of a sudden it wants 3 duplicates to get one damm piece..... made me waste my time and points!!!!!!!!!

I encountered one of these the other day and the dude popped the "F" command feature. Holy crap that can do some damage. Can't get away quick enough and the range is crazy. It was impresive, so much so I want to get one. To confirm, this ship will be part of the Tech Tree? So purchase with credits and Free XP?
As much as it's gonna be fun playing when I finally unlock it... man they either went full cash grab mode or their balancing dept went on vacation when thinking Schlieffen but better was a good idea. Atlantico was balanced around AP only 15" main guns, just okay armor and slow top speed. Libertad? None of that.
it sound fun, but very weak against torp ( stealth one XD)? and the the F button in asymetric with many smaller tier ship ( if not torp again) on a side note, would love a revew with start and finish of new line, by that i mean for this ship, how the T8 play and the T10 to see evolution ( member the latest IJN one were T8 is meh but bungo is nice)
I just realised... I think 59mm of (HE, ofc) penetration on the 234mm guns is (I believe) enough to actually citadel a few light cruisers. Which begs the question... would you still get a citadel ribbon if your _secondaries_ citadel something? EDIT: It might be - the thinnest belt armour I know of on a cruiser is Agano's 60mm (at T5), and there might be ships with less, but probably not on any ships in Libertad's matchmaking spread. I'm not sure.
Nice ship, nice line concept. But not enough ships in the line. Normally these battleship lines have 8 ships, excluding the eventual super ship addition. Italy also being a full line despite starting at tier 4, with 7 ships in that line. The Pan-Amerian Battleship line has only 3 ships, all of them being what if ships. They honestly should have postponed it until they actually had the line finished. I do hope they fill out the rest of it soon, but im not getting my hopes up. I wont be touching the line unless they finish filling it out. Its really disappointing that they are cutting the tech tree lines shorter and shorter.
Unfortunately they do have to go into what if.... in order to keep getting out new ships that isnt redundent, however i also do not see how tf this ship would be possible in real life. I dont know the first things when it comes to ship designs but i cant see how this ship would be made either economically or how the ergonomics inside the ship would work. It legit looks like a ship you would make in one of those build your own _____ games.
This ship balance really does underpin the sorry state of cruisers in the overall balance minus certain ships such as Napoli. It will be miserable to be one of the more basic cruisers as this thing just runs you over, and their ability to chip away at this thing is mostly just fire damage. BB players really do have their hands held but I guess that's to be expected that most of the skilled playerbase has now quit. Edit addition: It really is suspect to see how strong these EA ships are, as I suspect its yet another way WG wants to try and get people to dump huge amounts of money for it.

I know you almost always this channel focuses on randoms, but there are other modes in WOW as we all know. I know you mentioned it, but in the new update, OPERATIONS now invites players to bring in t 9,s and t10s. This is becoming quite enjoyable being in.,... its challenging. WHY, well 55percenters and up are getting their butts wiped slick in the operations challenges. I have been involved and seen it. Funny to watch these good players make excuses as to why those bots are kicking their butts. Might be something to look at, for a difference.
Great review, again! I'm definitely a Secondary Guns player. Most my German and French BBs are secondary builds. This one looks amazing and just right for my play style. But I will be waiting until it hits the tech tree. $200 is a bit steap for my retired wallet. See ya out on the blue.....🛥️

One thing to consider is that since it has lots of main guns, and those usually have better roof armor than normal deck, they shatter a lot of HE

It has very thick citadel armor but it is hittable

What seems insane is the pen on those larger secondaries ... 59 mm is about 1/4 pen, you're penning everything but the belt, even on Soviet ships!

The line gets out of early access in 10 weeks, you can start farming FXP until then
Beyond free xp, you could grind the xp for the initial ship on the current ship that leads into the line.

fire prev skill over the extra heal or concealment is a huge waste, i suggest using damage control when you have 2 fires and not 1 lol.

The getting into range is actually not that hard, the f gives a increase to secondary range
