@@moonsigil my guy, kooleen didn't invent this type of art style. just because she's popular doesn't mean everyone with a similar style is purposefully imitating her, that's plain bias. whenever you look at someone's art and think "wow, that's such a unique style", i can guarantee you that at least one other person on the planet has a similar one, intentional or not, and that's NORMAL. as diverse as art can be, the possibilities aren't literally endless, and there's bound to be overlap, especially with more "grounded" art styles like this. yes, there are people who try to imitate what they've seen others do on purpose, some with malicious intent. does that make mindlessly accusing someone of being a "clone" okay? no, that just makes you sound like a jerk.

My only other thing i would change would be making the hand bigger. Irl your hand (when fully outstretched) should be able to cover your face.
The example shown might have been a stylistic choice though since anime characters typically have big heads compared to the rest of their bodies

@@raline46 Not necessarily alot of anime characters are drawn with unrealistic sized feet and hands. Best example I think is sailor moon. I also think it’s important to think about the anatomy of the arm that’s off screen. This pose seems a little stiff because the arm is coming straight up from the bottom of the drawing. Which isn’t possible for the arm.

  • @Tenistriph

The only thing I noticed is the blue lighting on the iris. The iris would've caught on the other side because, correct me if I'm wrong, it has an inward cone-like shape so it would've been obstructed by the eye whites. :D
