I also give my dog black berries, cranberries, strawberries. I'll add in the green tea and apple cidar Vinegar. I don't buy honey...we don't have bees left here in Victoria, Australia. People need to stop exploiting animals because eventually things are going to go beyond bad for all life
I have a girl chocolate lab, she has started showing signs of a uti a couple days ago, she’s had one before so I knew the signs. Luckily her temperament and eating and energy was normal. Just noticed she was peeing more and and had a few dribbles of blood. In this economy my wallet just doesn’t have thousands of dollars. When I called my vet I was looking at $100 just for the visit, $200-300 for the bladder test, and another $200 for antibiotics. If I was a rich man obviously for my fur kids cash would be no option! However lol. Granted I started this before bed last night, and I can already tell a MASSIVE difference this morning as she only squatted to pee twice, compared to the multiple stops along our walks the last couple days. My cat had a uti for a month straight .4 antibiotics one hospital visit and over 2 grand later and still had pain and blood when urinating. I heard of colloidal silver . I gave him 5 unto 7 mil two times a day and within 4 days he was fine . I also put 1 or 2 mls in his drinking water . I pray this helps someone

@@robiny.4395 yes it worked quickly. I didn’t mix it , I gave it straight. It don’t have any taste or smell. So my cat didn’t fight that much. Please tell me how you go and spread the word. So many animals are dying and vets are too expensive.

My dog shakes after I give it to her
My dog is having a chronic UTI for months now. My vet said her pee is too alkaline (8). She's been given DL-Methionine (urine acidifier) for I think 1.5months by now and her pee remained at 8. No change whatsoever. So her UTI keeps coming back. She has been taking a course of antibiotic every month... for 4mths now. And my vet suggested to try Hillls uti science diet kibbles. But I'd hate to give her kibbles (I cook fresh food for her). I watched 2 of Dr Jones' videos about dog's UTI. And I also read that cranberries abstract with D-Mannose is good. So I bought that. I gave her 1/2 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar twice a day, and the cranberries abstract. I gave her green tea with honey but she's not a fan. I only add a little in her meals. And in less than a week her pee PH has dropped to 6.5!! It's so amazing! What the vet prescription couldn't do, I did it in less than a week following Dr Jones' instruction!! I am so grateful!! Thank you Dr Jones!

RECIPE
• 1 cup of water ( cold water removes caffeine) (caffeine is not good for dogs)
• 1 green tea bag
• 1 Tbsp unpasteurized honey
• 1 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar
FEEDING MEASUREMENTS
• 1 cup daily per 50lbs of body weight
• 1/4 cup 2x a day per 25lbs of body weight
So steep the green tea in cold or room temperature water is what you are saying? Thanks
@@Lil_HandGrenade Yes do the cold brew tea which eliminates a high majority of the caffeine. Place tea in a jar, add proper amount of filtered water and place in fridge for at least three hours. Remove tea bag or loose tea before adding the honey and the ACV.

Can I use local wildflower honey? And my dog is 65lbs so how much should I give her?
@@Deafie_InsightsYes make it the same way with the wildflower honey. Raw unfiltered is always best. For 65lbs, just double the prescribed amount.... so 1 cup daily total, given in smaller increments throughout the day.
This is used for humans too. Works great.
my brother has a Boston Terrier that started bleeding in his urine today. Taken to the Vet & given some antibiotics. Vet said its a sever case & sent a sample of his urine to a specialist. Cost my brother over $500. Hope his dog gets well soon! He's only around 3 years old.

Thank you for this videos. My dog has had 4 struvite stone surgeries and 3 within the last 8 months. None of the 3 vets she has been to ever recommended this or anything other than surgery. I pray this is her last since I will start this as soon as she recovers from surgery. I pray my baby doesn't suffer through another surgery.

Starting this day one, will update results. My female dog has been battling a uti on and off for about 3 months. We finally switched her dog food cause we found out there was a class action lawsuit against zignatures since all their food has poultry and grain, even though we were buying grain free and poultry free food. I assume the food also had bacteria in it similar to the midwestern food, which probably causes her constant UTIs.
On day 5 of this, and there is no more blood with her urine. She hasn’t had an accident in 2 days. I’m going to finish up the rest of the week and see how it goes! Thanks doc!
I’m on day 12, of this treatment, will probably finish in two days and she’s pretty much cured. Added cranberry 500 mg and 1g d mannose, for good measure. I’m so happy I didn’t have to give her anymore antibiotics.
I am so happy to hear the good news! I have a 5 pound little Yorky who just contracted a UTI. I’ve just made the organic green tea and since my fiancé raises honey bees I added unpasteurized honey and also apple cider vinegar with the mother in it. I’m obviously going to let it cool down and give it to her. She cannot tolerate any types of medication they literally make her sick. The only way they can get an antibiotic into her is the subcutaneous route in which The antibiotic has a life of six days. I’m not sure what the half life of the antibiotic is at this point. I’m so glad that this worked for your dog.. I am looking for a holistic veterinarian because she just gets so sick from medication. Thank you for the updates as well! I've been using a mallow and nettle tea for my cat that kept getting crystals but I'll try this now as the nettles and mallows have dried up.

Big improvement I wouldn't suggest honey though it's pure sugar and even humans in my opinion should not consume honey
But decaffeinated organic green tea I would try that

My 5 year old female Maltipoo has had 4 UTI’s over the last 2 and a half years and the only remedy was antibiotics. a few weeks ago, I noticed some strains in her urine and as well as strong odor. I gave her fresh cranberries and it seemed to work until today. I will try this remedy out and hope for the best.

I cannot even put my words together to thank you enough! I gave my dog this formula for a little over 7 days, and she is 100% treated now. I am so so so happy right now :')

Hey. God bless you all. My chihuahua got her period when she turned 6months. And know she’s 7min the and she be spotting especially when she pee’s. I think it’s a UTI, I really don’t know it’s my first time having a dog. But will try this remedy today.
I took cilantro and dried it and pressed it in the double zero capsules and gave my dog, 2 a day for about a week and she was much less stinky and wasn't licking her butt profusely. I know it works amazing for kidney infections and UTIs in people as I'm very prone to them and it saved my life. Works better than any antibiotic. But I've never heard of this one very interesting:) cilantro specifically has something in it that kills ecoli and other bacteria in the bladder and kidneys that's why if you go to Mexico you got get sick from water but they don't because they eat tons of cilantro on everything:) I'm sure there are other circumstances, but it plays a big part

thank you because i am currently having a little bit of blood coming out in my dogs pee
and the hospitals here in nyc are not taking walk ins unless you get an appointment so its like your dog and you are on your own witch could lead to your dog dying on you because theres no place for emergencies for your pet with is unbelievable i am so discuted on how the city doesn't care enough so for now ill have to find home remedies for emergencies

I give my dogs vitamin c and make sure the urine is below 6.4 pH he has to have 3 pills a day. 500 mg each. He had no problems for years.

Wow, my 12 month old puppy started peeing in the house all of a sudden, and was also trying to pee outside but nothing was coming out, but then he would pee again inside. So I watched this yesterday, and followed the protocol but I left out the vinegar, and he got better today in the morning and hasn't peed weird or had any accidents in the house. We did get some natural honey locally just a few weeks ago, and used that, and oh boy, I was so thankful and amazed that it worked. Thank you Dr. Jones. You never cease to amaze me. Can you do some videos of what you know about people health?

I got rid of an e-coli bladder infection( in myself) with D-Mannose .... it's tasteless in water and awesome for old folks. Check it out for your animals ... great one to be aware of
D-Mannose is what I use on me and my pets too Gillian....it does work so great.
Hello Dr. Jones, as always thank you for caring and sharing. Dr. Jones, I'm freaking out because my dig just got diagnosed with too much protein in his liver. The vet said he needs an ultrasound but the vets going on vacation for the month of August . He has nothing available for this month. This vet works at the Humane Society, reasonable prices. I've called other places but price is betw $600 & $900 ! Is there anything I can do to take care of my lil Yorkie, Gizmo, until I can get the ultrasound in August? He does have two rotten molars which I'm assuming are infected but he can't get anesthesia. I've been giving him 2 drops of Oregano oil in his food since it's a strong antibiotic. Please share with me what you think is best for my baby, much appreciated!!!
Hello Doc! Do you have any home remedies that you can recommend for those dogs age 7-8yrs old that has Vaginitis? Guess after my furbaby had her miscarriage. She still have it minimal smelly discharge. Color light brown coming out like drops in her vulva.
Atm i have her uti's under control doing a protocol of premade raw food with enough water , cranberry juice daily and also doing marshmallow root occasionally and d mannose in emergency.

My American Bulldog has one because the vet told me so. She is prone to uti's.
May I ask if you've tried this or the cranberry capsule? I have a 12 wk old GSD that has the same issue and is just coming off antibiotics. Her vet has also prescribed Mal A Ket wipes, its really expensive, can't wait until she can have surgery.
Are you warming up the water for the green tea and then letting it cool off or just steep in cold water ?
Both my dogs had uti problems and was also making crystals. They would not eat the special food so I asked my vet if I could put them on cranberry tablet that I'm on. She said that would be OK as they are just cranberry and vitamin C. They no longer have a crystal problem and have been clear of uti's for a few months now.

Silver solution worked for me and for one of my dogs. Had to give her doses to prevent a uti.1 teaspoon twice a day. Silver solution not colloidal. It also boosts their immune system.
Won´t it affect their kidneys and liver?

I'm giving my 17 year old tiny chihuahua echinacea 2 times a day. He was sneezing and making all kinds of noises when he sleeps. He was drinking water like crazy too. Now he doesn't drink water so much and doesn't make the sleep noise. I fix his food and sprinkle a little bit of a capsule of echinacea on the food ,mix it well and he eats like it's wonderful. His hearing is so much better. I think a bomb could go off and he wouldn't hear a thing. Now he can hear some. He is an inside boy so he's not eating anything but his food. I think the echinacea was much better than antibiotics.
Doctor can use this for protein leak in urine?? My winner has this issue, I don't know if using benazepril forever would be good
If your dog is allergic to bee stings, can they still have honey? If so, is Manuka honey made with honey from Australia ok?
