The older gentleman who was in charge was trying to impress a younger woman who happened to be touring the pirate ship. She was probably 20 years younger so I politely said that I would be on my way. I didn’t think it was much of a “Welcome” at the “Welcome Center” as the large sign indicated out front 🤣 I could understand why he was sour as having a ship named “Virginia” in the State of Maine is puzzling to most visitors I imagined 🤷♂️
So the deal with #CaneTrain was a year ago at the Birmingham AL rally @BigJohn and his team arrived in a long white stretch Lincoln Limo with a bright green tandem bicycle 🚲 literally ratchet strapped upright to the roof, and no exhaust. It was quite the spectacle and they took home 🥉I’m just assuming “Cane” being short for a white powdery substance likely consumed by previous occupants of a party limo 🤷♂️ Anyways BigJohn and the team are quite fun. Useless fact- Rally Master Jeff is fond of Limo’s as he won first place in one before being hired as Rally Director. It was the event when RoadKill participated in the shortened Lincoln.
Reminds me of the skanky stretch limo the Junkyard Digs team resurrected + drove around. But ... so Jeff has a thing for Limos ... hmmmmm. We have an idea.
@@TemptingFateTours- yes, Big John’s was an ‘03 Lincoln with those bull Antlers on the hood as well. Big John said that about a week before the Rally he got in the Limo and it was full of mold. Which I know is Quite common on old Limos as they sit abandoned and have massive leaks. Jeff’s was about the same era as Junk Yard Digs. If you want to do research watch some old videos by “Fuel Injection Sucks” as he was on that rally. It takes quite a bit to impress Jeff, typically the larger and hideous the better, based on my observations.
It is! I wondered if anyone would notice that. Though I believe it could also be a Singer or a Sunbeam, as all of those brands were used on the Audax body with those taillights?
