Fun fact: The guitar she was using is her first guitar that she bought with her saved up pocket money. It’s also the same guitar she brought to audition and to Hawaii. She’s also self taught.

It seems like she used to use a lot of her mid-tone before. Blackpink's songs mostly have a lot of high notes. No wonder she has to adjust her singing style to be able to reach the high notes. She still definitely have the same voice; she's just using her upper register more.
Lower and mid tone she use when she's young. But in bp shw use upper coz she incharge in higher range. Bp pre chorus always place in a higher key.
Someone should do a video about Rosé Before n After predebute.. So fans know who really she is.. Thank You for showing us this video..
This literally is the proof that her voice isn’t „fake“ like what so many people always say. She always had that „unique tone“ in her voice and the technique YG taught just makes it stand out more. The real problem is that she has to sing really high in Ddu-Du Ddu-Du and Kill This Love era. Let’s hope she can sing a bit lower in their next comeback!

Singing high isn't exactly the reason, it's about the technique. She now uses a very nasal sound as opposed to her darker, more resonant sound. The difference in technique will carry onto her tone regardless of how high or low she sings, unless she chooses to use her deeper tone for her lower register. I hope she does that tbh, her lower register with the nasal technique is noticeably shaky/unsupported

For me?The tone she's using now is already evident here.if she's forcing it all the time just like what others like to imply,it could hurt her vocal chords.she just manage to handle her tone now through her training with YG. I don't think they forced her to sound unique or anything as it shows here. She's already unique. She has this raw and kind of different color of voice. Her training brought out those certain features that makes her voice unique. Her voice is her voice. Then and Now. No "fake-voice-real voice-original voice and such" narrative.
Exactly! I never understood how from one video (without you) people claimed that rosé must be faking her voice. It’s literally one video that had been auto tuned and in a deeper register too. She sounds the same in this video, her tone is the exact same and the unique twangs she adds is still here. The only difference is training and getting older, also becoming more confident and developing her style more

If you guys scroll twitter, you might encountered a lot of tweets about our Rosie is getting mistreated by her own company, could you imagine that Rosé get the least promotion & CF other than her members throughout the years? It was a win for us in 2016 & 17 because Rosé get to collab in award show and joining singing shows. Until, everything became silent for her. Still, she endured it and smile happily in front of blinks. When everyone asking her, is she okay, she denied it and ask blinks not to worry about her. She's okay and fine. But behind camera? We don't know. I don't want our Rosie to get depressed about this. My heart ache so much. Try to be in her shoes. Imagined you have an angelic voice and talented, but couldn't show it to your fans because SOMEONE HOLDING HER BACK. I'm an OT4 stan, but it's not fair for Rosie because the other members get a lot, like a LOT of endorsement, being a mentor and CF.
