Over all, I like the vibe of the show, the song, the performance, and she definitley fit those vibe. Hope to see more Paramore song in begin again tho :')
I think it's a live recorded video, you can actually hear the sound of the waves, 0:41. Plus, her entrance in this part 0:25 was a bit in a hurry so I don't think that it is postrecorded. But overall, this cover is really good. It suited her voice well. I agree with you, she doesn't sound strained. She sings comfortably to this song.
I think program like Begin Again has the technology to exclude other noises and keep the singer's voice. Some music program with audiences under the stage, also will edit the audience's cheering out. So I guess it's possible its live recorded.

The Art of Singing is it's not only about reaching hard notes. It's about making people feel something. I've heard "great" vocalists in Kpop and I just don't feel anything, because they just sing as an automatic job and not with their heart. 저도요 가사 표현력이 이정도일줄은 몰랐는데 스토리텔링이 상당하네요. 가사와 감정이 느껴지게 부르는 아이돌은 정말 흔치 않은것같은데 대단해요... 미발매곡인 ready for love에서 댄스곡임에도 후렴직전 브릿지파트에서도 감정과 가사가 느껴질정도로 보컬이 성장했더라고요 ㅋㅋ
