- We finally rode the Oben Rorr, a vehicle that's conceptualised, designed, and developed entire in India. Yes the battery cells are being sourced from China and Korea, like most EV makers, but this Indian EV startup builds its own motor, controller, chassis, and battery packs. While it all sounds nice, but does the vehicle have what it takes it to become a mass seller especially when demand for electric vehicles is only rising across India. We tell you all its big positives and negatives in this video.

Now the electric vehicle market is like smartphone market in 2015-16 when every small and big companies tried to establish themselves.
Only issue is all the companies design most of the bikes looking after the young generation.
A family man can't buy these bikes because pillion rider seats are uncomfortable. Seat should be flat like retro bike seats.

I Booked a OBEN RORR Bike in JUNE 2023 and paid 10000/-
it has taken 10 months still not been delivered
and I got fraud calls from the company
the company had no contact number ???
no authorised person ???
every time they just answered that you will get delivery as soon as possible ???
I think Company is fraud

जब फर्स्ट टाईम ऐड आई तो 1. 10लाख बताई गई कीमत। 1000 रु बुकीग एमाउंट लेके बैठे है डेढ साल से। अब 1.80 लाख और कही अता पता भी नही अब तक गुजरात में।
seat height is also heigh.. 790-800mm hona chahiyein tha.. jo har height ke rider k liyein best hota hain..

Bro thoda sa confusion h .WIth CVT, the engine output is transferred via the torque converter? is it? . Or somehow the torque convertors are getting used with CVT nowadays ?? Please help me to understand.

I don't understand why the manufacturer fail to understand that an electric vehicle is a Diwali rocket...goes fast but only few metres... No use of it in highway...then what use of that we have unless it feels good in commuting...stiff suspension, too high riding position, uncomfortable seats ... Why should anyone consider this

You can easily get at least 100 Km on a single charge. It has decent torque output, so there is no reason why it should not work on hilly roads.

These bikes are for college students or for daily commuters and for Indian consumers who on avg are 5ft 5inches. sorry but stupid design and has only focused on looks but not on usability.
