    You were the only reviewer who mentioned the roomy fit, which I appreciate. I tried these in store and they were way to roomy for my narrow fit. Couldn’t make it work.

      Yes, these definitely work for wider feet (without having to go to a specific wide fit). My wife tried them and she also found they were just too roomy!

    After the first run in my glycerin max I bought a second pair. After 60 miles in my first pair, I'm considering buying a third just in case they sell out in my size. Probably the most comfortable long run shoe I ever tried, and agree on the review, it rides like it shouldn't but it does and feels really good!

    The green midsole huge inside the thin carrier looks very cool. I am actually impressed the fact that DNA Tuned has variable density nitrogen bubbles (smaller in front, larger bubbles in the back) in one midsole that is not welded, glued etc. Price will be a limiting factor here. I am looking to run in a demo shoe sometime soon.

      I think trying these shoes would convince a lot more people that they are worth more than the weight suggests. Yes, price will definitely put a lid on the potential sales.

      @@its_Matt_B_ update for ya: took them out for a 4 mile shakeout run (fall marathon tomorrow!), really like the rocker/ease of turn over in the Glycerin Max. Plush upper still secure and can pick up the pace nicely for strides, etc. Already a fan!

    7:25 "I wouldn't buy the Glycerin 21." Since its release, I've been trying to talk my sister into getting the Max for her PF. She's still on the fence because she's been married to the OG Glycerin for years. There's still hope.

    How would you compare the Glycerin Max to the Superblast 2 for long runs ?

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  День назад +1

      I haven't run in the Superblast 2, but if I compare them to the Superblast (original), I can say that these are far heavier and more padded. Overall the Glycerin Max are a far more substantial shoe than the Superblast. If you like to run your long runs nice and easy, the Glycerin Max will be ideal. If you like to run your long runs at some speed, or looking to also run some faster miles, the Superblast will probably be a better option.

      @@its_Matt_B_ Thanks for the feedback! I have a secon half marathon in December and my goal is under 2 hours ( about a 8:46-9:00 pace) I have the Endorphine Speed 4 for Speed workouts and Endorphine Pro 4 race day. Sounds like the Glycerin Max would pair well for the rest of the miles? Want to focus on long (time on feet) runs.

    • @its_Matt_B_

      @@michaeldominic2070 If I had to choose, I’d go with the Glycerin Max. It has a surprising amount of t of “pop” for such a cushioned shoe. It’s not a win by a wide margin though; I could make an argument for each of them!
