In a legend's novel she actually was quite fascinated by Anakin because he grew up with a mother and was so different from the other Jedi she grew up with. It's written like she is quite taken with him but doesn't understand exactly what she is feeling. It's called the approaching storm it takes place right before episode 2. It's about the border dispute on Ansion that Anakin and Obiwon solved right before Padme's assassination.
What if the entire Jedi council trained Anakin instead of just letting one master train him. Anakin would have different sessions with each master for a certain amount of time and be trained and taught morals. Maybe make some of these morals conflict or have the Jedi give anakin a collected mindset of the Jedi code. Anakin could not like the Jedi teachings and leave the temple which would actually open the eyes of the Jedi council and see it as a massive failure causing them to do something like change the code or something.
I actually really like the premise. Something TCW makes easy to forget: Barriss and Anakin were of (roughly) the same age. Offee and Skywalker because knights more or less at the same time in the EU timeline (over the cause of the third year in the clone wars) after all. So them meeting and falling for each other sounds very fitting and intrigueing. Writing this pre watch btw 😅👍

I feel like Palps could have subtly shifted the trajectory of the blade off to the side instead of having to completely give away what he is. So I like to think that what happened here is he realized Anakin was impossible to turn and basically he flipped the whole table and rage quit
I wish Anakin had grown up with a friend like Barriss maybe not in this exact way but just someone to talk to. Being the only person who hadn't been trained from birth as well as being treated differently by the masters probably led to a pretty lonely upbringing.
I kind of expected Barriss to try and leave the jedi order during the war with Anakin in this What If. They both tried to help those who suffered in the galaxy but ended up being punished for doing so by order. The jedi order clearly is not interested in doing good, they are just trying to have a good reputation in the senate and kill the sith and that should have been very obvious for Barriss especially with her having a more open mind here. This turn of events was quite unexpected for me but that is what I like about your stories: Fun to listen to, creative and sometimes surprising.
Well they likely wouldn't have been punished as you had groups like the Corellian Jedi, Teepo Paladins, and even a group of Non Forcce Users whose name I forgot that wanted to be like the Jedi.

I have a long time family friend that people thought for twenty or thirty years (ever since my late uncle met him in high school) was what is now called an "aroace" until he brought a beautifully curvaceous college student to my grandmother's Christmas party. Even though there was an age gap there, it was between consenting adults who share a great intellect and love for puns, and are now married. I'm really happy for both of them, they're practically members of my father's family at this point, and both always talked to me as equals, even when I was a minor. It's hard when you have a genius level IQ and most teachers and most other adults don't speak to you as equals because of your size. Yoda warned people about this; it is the mind that matters, not the crude matter that carries it! My point is that I've witnessed how there can be healthy relationships with an age gap larger than a year as long as they're consenting adults. I imagine that the family members you speak of are in that type of scenario. Now back to Star Wars. I thought that since Ahsoka and Barris were Padawans at the same time and friends throughout TCW, that Ahsoka and Barris were roughly the same age. That would mean that Anakin would basically be preying on (or at best stalking) a minor. If there's only a one-year age gap between the two, I guess it just took her longer to become a Knight and because of that, her social circles remained among the Padawans.
Well, this one was pretty great! Loved how both anakin and Bariss were elevated by their relationship. Loved Oho-wan’s acceptance and all that too, it was great to see. The troll meditation scene was a wonderful idea, probably my favorite moment, and seeing more of bariss is always good!

PPSW if you read this comment, how would Barriss Offee and Anakin Skywalker fair if the Sith Empire from the KOTOR era returned just when the Clone Wars was about to end?
I've always liked this pairing. Both felt suffocated by their masters. Both wanted to go their own way but felt pressured to stay where they were. Both were expected to grow and mature during a war where they forced to not get attached to their fallen comrades. They could've really worked as a couple. I understand why he got with Padme, but in another timeline, this could've helped stop both of them from turning to the Dark Side
In fact, there could have been interactions with Padmé and I would have imagined that Anakin felt like he was in danger or something worrisome. Luminara Unduli may follow the code, but she is actually one of the more wholesome Jedi Master in the ye olde EU, she even sees Barriss as a daughter she never had, unlike how TCW portrays her.
What if Padme joined Anakin in Revenge of the Sith? Seeing as Padme believed the Jedi were traitors to the Republic, when Palpatine was giving his speech, she would have a similar perspective as Anakin. What if she agreed to join him and the Empire on Mustafar to ensure safety for their kid(s)? When Obi-Wan tries to duel him, perhaps she tries to use her ship to fire at Obi-Wan, believing he's also a "traitorous Jedi" trying to overthrow them? I'm not too sure how to incorporate Obi-Wan into it, perhaps Padme trying to fire upon him causes him to retreat, or he injures Anakin just enough to get away (one leg cut off, or his cybernetic arm cut off again) and perhaps Obi-Wan gets overwhelmed (Sidious' ship flying in, Clones crowding in, etc.). Since Anakin is not on the brink of death, and Padme wasn't injured from a force choke, and Anakin/Vader is already so powerful for his age, Sidious would allow her to stay by his side since not doing so would infuriate him and cause his new apprentice to duel him in anger. Padme, knowing very little about the force, assumes things will be safer and happier with time... But as the years go by, hoping their family is happy, she realizes that Luke and Leia, being trained by Anakin, were more angry due to the dark side and concerned more with training and helping the Empire than seeing their mother. This is where it gets REALLY interesting. Perhaps at some point, Padme gets Luke and Leia to talk in private, and essentially breaks down in tears about what's happening to them and their emotions. Leia being the more headstrong, shrugs it off and doesn't care... But Luke being the more heartfelt of the two, has "seeds of doubt" planted in his mind. He has to go back to working with Anakin/Vader and his sister, but it lingers in his mind... He wanted to get stronger to not just be like his father, but to protect his family and make them proud... But if his mother is crying and is anything but proud, is it really worth it?
Honestly, I don’t think Anakin actually gave a hoot about Sidious or the Empire, beyond using them as a means to save Padme. I could definitely see this premise going many interesting ways though! I would love to see a video on it.
This makes sense, Anakin and Bariss would’ve gotten to know each other very well. If only Anakin had someone like Bariss who stood up for him, cared about him, and made him feel that he wasn’t alone in canon. Even just having a close friend in the Jedi order would’ve helped Anakin. Bariss was so adorable as a little girl.
A very good take. I feel their connection was far more realistic and there is infinite potantial there. Anakin had a person to talk to and express his emotions too and learn to control them. Something he never had in the ten years between the Phantom menace and Attack of the Clones and so he became a brat but here he had that. This is also good for Bariss because unlike in regular continuity where they barely speak and Anakin even fights her in the clone wars series when she bombed the jedi temple here they speak a lot and Bariss would not have become so misguided.

At first I didn’t see what having Anakin love someone else would have till then realized it had everything to do with his story, his rise and fall as well as his legacy and kids. Didn’t give it much thought till you made these stories.
I made my other comment before watching the video, After watching: This was so sweet, was it true that Anakin and Barriss were in the same youngling class? I loved seeing them naturally grow from childhood friends to falling in love, all those cute little interactions were very heartwarming! And Obi-Wan being a pal and only wanting their happiness in spite of his by-the-book nature, that was great. This was beautiful, I love this pairing even more than I thought I would. Well done 🙂
Genuinely a good question. Ultimately fan hindsight from evolving world building over decades. Simple answer; would step on original trilogy's ending. Though, the sequels decided to be less than respectful themselves.

The issue with this is that you've drastically underestimated the Hyperspace travel-time. Zygerria and Tatooine are both near the outer edge of the galaxy...on nearly opposite sides. The trip that you described would take at LEAST 3 weeks round trip.
New Idea: What if Jango Fett survived Geonosis? (I know personally, I see him rebuilding the True Mandalorians with Boba and a select few of the Cuy'val Dar, but I'd love to see what you'd think would happen.)
I love this story is not like normal what ifs but it's nice to see how anakin and Barris treated there students like family and it shows that because of there bond it made them both better jedi and amazing masters to many generations.
What if Anakin and Obi-Wan never hid anything from each other? Would it have resulted in a true and full Brotherhood that would never break? Would Padme be jealous of the strength of their “Bromance” as compared to their … whatever relationship they wind up with? Would the love and compassion between the two brothers bring a soft revolution to the teachings of the order? Would the Brothers leave, and form their own order? Apologies if you have done this before and I just didn’t see it when I browsed through your stories. You have quite a lot of them; but if this one is any indication, You put a lot of care, time, thought and love into these stories. Fantastic work, looking forward to your next one!

I honestly think it's admirable how you're able to consistently push out these stories. Not to mention your dedication to including Palpatine's demise (when the story calls for it) in spite of how done you might feel with it.
This is a better relationship Anakin had with Barriss Offee, for she is definitely a match for Anakin, for she understands having emotion makes someone unique and special. It knows what it's like to be put down by others ( such as her master Lumuinira), and the excellent part is that Barriss didn't turn to the dark side by bombing the Jedi Temple and framing Ashoka for she has Anakin as her anchor. What I really love about this what-if video is that Anakin didn't turn to the dark side either because he has someone like Barriss who likes who he is and understands him through friendship and growing romance. And have a master like Obi-Wan who is less strict ( than Luminuira) but shows care for Anakin and wants to be happy. The best part is that Anakin wouldn't fall for Palpatine's manipulation would lead to relying on comfort for his needs and wants. So both Anakin and Barriss became knights by doing the right thing, what is right, and had their own apprentices. As Barris's apprentice, Desha Numa is a charming touch, and Barris is much kinder, compassionate, and understanding to her apprentice despite having some trouble mishaps with Luminaria. She was able to face her hardship with the support of Anakin and Obi-Wan and was finally free from her excuse of a master. Especially Anakin, who manages not to let his past define him but overcomes those challenges and can be the Jedi. He meant to be more mature than arrogant and hot-headed since he hangs a lot with Barriss and other Jedi Masters such as Tera Sinabue and Jocasta Nu, who are the people who help Anakin a lot. Tera Sinabue is a better master for Barriss for he is very patient, kind, and funny, for someone gentle would be a great master for Barris, don't you think? But in my opinion, Obi-Wan would be a better teacher for Barriss since he was less strict but understanding, caring, and wanted the best for Anakin, and I'm pretty sure Barriss would not have turned to the dark side. That's my opinion, but who do you think would be a great master for Barriss, Obi-Wan Kenobi, or Tera Sinabue? Anyway, this is an excellent what-if story, my friend; it turns out to be a great ending both for the Jedi, Anakin, and Barris, along with Obi-Wan, without having to deal with the rising of the Galatic Empire and Ashoka leaving the Jedi Order because of the lack of trust from the Jedi. Hey, this gives me an excellent idea for a future what-if video that may be related to this video: What if Barriss Offee was trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi instead of Luminaria, but she and Anakin had a relationship? I have a question so far, would Luminaria be a good teacher for Ezra? If she had survived Star Wars Rebels; if she does, would this change her character, or she will be strict? Would she even try to ditch Ezra if things go really bad ( if the number of enemy forces surrounding them) along with Kannan? I would like your opinions and thoughts if she was rescued by the Ghost crew from Star Wars Rebels. Fantastic what-if video, my friend! Please make more videos, for they are fascinating to watch and who knows, maybe Disney or LucasFilm would hire you to do a what-if Star Wars series for their productions. May the force be with you!😊

Woah, this is interesting. I was surprised when Barris ended up turning against the Jedi (though maybe I shouldn’t have been, since Luminara was okay with just letting her die in that early episode), she seemed so sweet in her early appearances. Plus I always thought she would get along great with Anakin since they’re both more independent minded than the typical Jedi. This would be a very interesting paring 🙂
Sadly, her turning made no sense if you read the Republic comics and the Medstar One duology, because she was 1. a Jedi Healer 2. a staunch pacifist whose primarily lightsaber style was Form III Soresu.

I think after the Zygerria events, Obi-Wan would have a talk with Luminara about how the relationship between Anakin and Barriss is what makes them such a good team because they brought out the best in each other. After seeing the two continue to have success, the Council would start to allow attachments as long as they don't interfere with their duties as Jedi.

If Barriss had kept away from that boy, she would've been--- Obi-Wan: No, Luminara! Anakin and Barriss showed initiative to solve the problem that we and the Republic have ignored. Yes, they have an attachment to each other, but that attachment has made them better Jedi than both of us could ever hope to be. Anakin taught her more than you could ever teach. He taught her how to be confident in her abilities and that it's okay to feel emotions. Anakin is happy. Barriss is happy. You should be too. Luminara would be taken aback by Obi-Wan's sudden outburst. After some meditation and research into the old Jedi, she would come to realize that she was wrong. Her and Obi-Wan would then lobby for the Jedi Council to change the Jedi Code to allow attachments.
Wow, this what if makes since and fixes alot of things with anakin in more ways than one. Not only that but Barriss becomes better as well 😌 I love this what if theory and some of the ones with ahsoka being the love interest too but this one is my favorite thus far. What if it was Padme instead of Leia on the ship at the beginning of episode 4, and Vader was pursuing them because he felt a powerful Force presence pulling at him. A presence he hadn’t felt since...
Joined it? She founded it. It was Padmé who laid the groundwork and it was her who gathered and recruited like-minded individuals together to form the Delegation of 2000. She was also the first to say they may need a form a resistance, as was seen in her discussions with Bail, Mon, and Garm Iblis.
Technically in canon and legends (due to the movie novels being legends) her, mon mothma and others are the founders of the rebellion against the empire due to the document they signed in secret during RoTS
Final review: Great Video, A LOT more believable than Anakin and Padme and definitely a better outcome for either of them then what Canon did. Only thing that woulda made it better was the mention of a kiss. Because I'm a sucker for those. It's possible I missed it in the video though. Might have to pay closer attention on the next watch through.
It's good, but there are some flaws especially with Palpatine. I sireously doubt that Palps would try the same plan to turn Anakin into a sith like he did in ROTS, I think in this case he would of used Anakin's attachment to barriss offee to get to him. Palpatine was a mastermind manipulator and I think he could get to Anakin one way or another. I don't think he'd ever be desperate.
What if Luke said, "Yes, father. I will join the dark side."? What if the Jedi council realized that attachments help make people more stable and that the fear of fear was weakening them.
As a whole I really enjoyed this story, I think there were a few time frame discrepancies, but I don't think they took away from the over all story, and I think Sideous died a too easily, but you already addressed that in the video breakdown you did after the story was concluded. When I mention time frame discrepancies I mean the time it would take to take the trip they took to free those forced into servitude, I don't think they could have accomplished that trip in a single night and being left alone to sleep after not sleeping during the trip, however in my mind I can justify that as the reason they got caught, having disappeared for I would say at least 3 days, but still able to cover their tracks so that only the Jedi would know it was them and they would have omitted those facts not wanting to tarnish the reputation of the Jedi, especially since it was not an approved mission. Essentially I was able to enjoy this story while mentally correcting any issues I saw in the story without changing it drastically. These a fun thought exercises and they inspire creativity and to me that is the true value in the stories you create.
As Mr burns would say excellent. Technically Kenobi was following the way Qui Gon trained him. He was stricked but he always bend the code and push the boundaries unlike Kenobi who basically ran his life by the Jedi code. Also liked the fact that Kenobi knew about Barris and Anakin's friendship with Barris and kept it a secret. Kinda like with Anakin and padme. Barris and Anakin would have made a couple . What if in SWTOR, Ochos of Oblivion didn’t happen and Vitiate/Valkrion return around the movies? What if Anakin WAS granted the Rank of Master when appointed to the Jedi Council? What if Thrawn was present during the Original Trilogy? What if Mail was found by the Jedi before Sidious? What if Grevious became Force Sensitive /can us the Force after that blood transfusion from Siyo Dias during his cybernetics reconstruction? What if Starkiller lived at the end of TFU1? What if Lord Starkiller lived at the end of TFU1 dark side ending and ignoring the dlc?
i have to say i really enjoy the story and the overall logical sense to it, but i am sorry the hyperspace jump from Zygerria to Tatooine is a bit understated. "Tatooine is just a short jump away" from zygerria it is almost the whole galaxy xD from Grid S4 to R16. Its just a minor mistake but everything else was absolutely awesome!! Keep up the good work
Great senario, it's very plausible pre-tcw. Funnily enough, i actually had a fanfic i wrote but never published where barris got carbon frozen a few years the end of the clone wars, along with Quinlan Vos, traa saa, and k'kruuk vand decades later luke found them, thawed them out, and they became the council of Luke's Jedi order, and Luke and Bariss got together. ( the carbon freezing eliminating the age difference between the two). I might publish it someday, but I doubt anyone would ever read it.

This looks like a very cool video but I have a suggestion I have an awesome what if story what if the clone army and the droid army worked together so basically what I mean by this is what I just said to join army in the clone army realize that both of them were kind of the same they were both mass-produced and they were both treated badly by the governments and their expendable to the eyes of the people and their leaders so what if the droids and clowns came to an agreement to betray both governments and made their own
I'm not sure if it's just the way I look at Luminara in what media I've come across featuring her in the main cast, but I find it kind of a stretch that she's a nightmare of a Master. Also, this is one of the best what ifs I've ever listened to

What if the entire Jedi council trained Anakin instead of just letting one master train him. Anakin would have different sessions with each master for a certain amount of time and be trained and taught morals. Maybe make some of these morals conflict or have the Jedi give anakin a collected mindset of the Jedi code. Anakin could not like the Jedi teachings and leave the temple which would actually open the eyes of the Jedi council and see it as a massive failure causing them to do something like change the code or something.
Well then this anakin would be so strong in dueling.He would have master teacher for each form

I actually really like the premise. Something TCW makes easy to forget: Barriss and Anakin were of (roughly) the same age. Offee and Skywalker because knights more or less at the same time in the EU timeline (over the cause of the third year in the clone wars) after all. So them meeting and falling for each other sounds very fitting and intrigueing. Writing this pre watch btw 😅👍

I feel like Palps could have subtly shifted the trajectory of the blade off to the side instead of having to completely give away what he is. So I like to think that what happened here is he realized Anakin was impossible to turn and basically he flipped the whole table and rage quit

I wish Anakin had grown up with a friend like Barriss maybe not in this exact way but just someone to talk to. Being the only person who hadn't been trained from birth as well as being treated differently by the masters probably led to a pretty lonely upbringing.
I kind of expected Barriss to try and leave the jedi order during the war with Anakin in this What If. They both tried to help those who suffered in the galaxy but ended up being punished for doing so by order. The jedi order clearly is not interested in doing good, they are just trying to have a good reputation in the senate and kill the sith and that should have been very obvious for Barriss especially with her having a more open mind here. This turn of events was quite unexpected for me but that is what I like about your stories: Fun to listen to, creative and sometimes surprising.
Well they likely wouldn't have been punished as you had groups like the Corellian Jedi, Teepo Paladins, and even a group of Non Forcce Users whose name I forgot that wanted to be like the Jedi.

This is suprisingly wholesome. Who knew Anakin and Bariss actually match each other almost perfectly.

I have a long time family friend that people thought for twenty or thirty years (ever since my late uncle met him in high school) was what is now called an "aroace" until he brought a beautifully curvaceous college student to my grandmother's Christmas party. Even though there was an age gap there, it was between consenting adults who share a great intellect and love for puns, and are now married. I'm really happy for both of them, they're practically members of my father's family at this point, and both always talked to me as equals, even when I was a minor. It's hard when you have a genius level IQ and most teachers and most other adults don't speak to you as equals because of your size. Yoda warned people about this; it is the mind that matters, not the crude matter that carries it!
My point is that I've witnessed how there can be healthy relationships with an age gap larger than a year as long as they're consenting adults. I imagine that the family members you speak of are in that type of scenario.
Now back to Star Wars. I thought that since Ahsoka and Barris were Padawans at the same time and friends throughout TCW, that Ahsoka and Barris were roughly the same age. That would mean that Anakin would basically be preying on (or at best stalking) a minor. If there's only a one-year age gap between the two, I guess it just took her longer to become a Knight and because of that, her social circles remained among the Padawans.

Well, this one was pretty great! Loved how both anakin and Bariss were elevated by their relationship. Loved Oho-wan’s acceptance and all that too, it was great to see. The troll meditation scene was a wonderful idea, probably my favorite moment, and seeing more of bariss is always good!

I've always liked this pairing. Both felt suffocated by their masters. Both wanted to go their own way but felt pressured to stay where they were. Both were expected to grow and mature during a war where they forced to not get attached to their fallen comrades. They could've really worked as a couple. I understand why he got with Padme, but in another timeline, this could've helped stop both of them from turning to the Dark Side
In fact, there could have been interactions with Padmé and I would have imagined that Anakin felt like he was in danger or something worrisome.
Luminara Unduli may follow the code, but she is actually one of the more wholesome Jedi Master in the ye olde EU, she even sees Barriss as a daughter she never had, unlike how TCW portrays her.
What if Padme joined Anakin in Revenge of the Sith?
Seeing as Padme believed the Jedi were traitors to the Republic, when Palpatine was giving his speech, she would have a similar perspective as Anakin. What if she agreed to join him and the Empire on Mustafar to ensure safety for their kid(s)?
When Obi-Wan tries to duel him, perhaps she tries to use her ship to fire at Obi-Wan, believing he's also a "traitorous Jedi" trying to overthrow them?
I'm not too sure how to incorporate Obi-Wan into it, perhaps Padme trying to fire upon him causes him to retreat, or he injures Anakin just enough to get away (one leg cut off, or his cybernetic arm cut off again) and perhaps Obi-Wan gets overwhelmed (Sidious' ship flying in, Clones crowding in, etc.).
Since Anakin is not on the brink of death, and Padme wasn't injured from a force choke, and Anakin/Vader is already so powerful for his age, Sidious would allow her to stay by his side since not doing so would infuriate him and cause his new apprentice to duel him in anger.
Padme, knowing very little about the force, assumes things will be safer and happier with time...
But as the years go by, hoping their family is happy, she realizes that Luke and Leia, being trained by Anakin, were more angry due to the dark side and concerned more with training and helping the Empire than seeing their mother.
This is where it gets REALLY interesting.
Perhaps at some point, Padme gets Luke and Leia to talk in private, and essentially breaks down in tears about what's happening to them and their emotions. Leia being the more headstrong, shrugs it off and doesn't care... But Luke being the more heartfelt of the two, has "seeds of doubt" planted in his mind.
He has to go back to working with Anakin/Vader and his sister, but it lingers in his mind... He wanted to get stronger to not just be like his father, but to protect his family and make them proud... But if his mother is crying and is anything but proud, is it really worth it?
Honestly, I don’t think Anakin actually gave a hoot about Sidious or the Empire, beyond using them as a means to save Padme. I could definitely see this premise going many interesting ways though! I would love to see a video on it.

This makes sense, Anakin and Bariss would’ve gotten to know each other very well. If only Anakin had someone like Bariss who stood up for him, cared about him, and made him feel that he wasn’t alone in canon. Even just having a close friend in the Jedi order would’ve helped Anakin. Bariss was so adorable as a little girl.

Padme gave Anakin rage, not Barris; his love for Barris got him more concentration on the task.
A very good take. I feel their connection was far more realistic and there is infinite potantial there. Anakin had a person to talk to and express his emotions too and learn to control them. Something he never had in the ten years between the Phantom menace and Attack of the Clones and so he became a brat but here he had that. This is also good for Bariss because unlike in regular continuity where they barely speak and Anakin even fights her in the clone wars series when she bombed the jedi temple here they speak a lot and Bariss would not have become so misguided.
This could have gone badly if Count Dokou was set up to successfully assassinate Bariss at a key point in this alt timeline.

I loved seeing them naturally grow from childhood friends to falling in love, all those cute little interactions were very heartwarming! The issue with this is that you've drastically underestimated the Hyperspace travel-time. Zygerria and Tatooine are both near the outer edge of the galaxy...on nearly opposite sides. The trip that you described would take at LEAST 3 weeks round trip.

I love this story is not like normal what ifs but it's nice to see how anakin and Barris treated there students like family and it shows that because of there bond it made them both better jedi and amazing masters to many generations.

You have no idea how good this feels listening absorbing the story resting my burning body after working out for hours I burned about 3000 calories today just from working out
I honestly think it's admirable how you're able to consistently push out these stories. Not to mention your dedication to including Palpatine's demise (when the story calls for it) in spite of how done you might feel with it.
This is a better relationship Anakin had with Barriss Offee, for she is definitely a match for Anakin, for she understands having emotion makes someone unique and special. It knows what it's like to be put down by others ( such as her master Lumuinira), and the excellent part is that Barriss didn't turn to the dark side by bombing the Jedi Temple and framing Ashoka for she has Anakin as her anchor. What I really love about this what-if video is that Anakin didn't turn to the dark side either because he has someone like Barriss who likes who he is and understands him through friendship and growing romance. And have a master like Obi-Wan who is less strict ( than Luminuira) but shows care for Anakin and wants to be happy. The best part is that Anakin wouldn't fall for Palpatine's manipulation would lead to relying on comfort for his needs and wants. So both Anakin and Barriss became knights by doing the right thing, what is right, and had their own apprentices.
As Barris's apprentice, Desha Numa is a charming touch, and Barris is much kinder, compassionate, and understanding to her apprentice despite having some trouble mishaps with Luminaria. She was able to face her hardship with the support of Anakin and Obi-Wan and was finally free from her excuse of a master. Especially Anakin, who manages not to let his past define him but overcomes those challenges and can be the Jedi. He meant to be more mature than arrogant and hot-headed since he hangs a lot with Barriss and other Jedi Masters such as Tera Sinabue and Jocasta Nu, who are the people who help Anakin a lot. Tera Sinabue is a better master for Barriss for he is very patient, kind, and funny, for someone gentle would be a great master for Barris, don't you think? But in my opinion, Obi-Wan would be a better teacher for Barriss since he was less strict but understanding, caring, and wanted the best for Anakin, and I'm pretty sure Barriss would not have turned to the dark side. That's my opinion, but who do you think would be a great master for Barriss, Obi-Wan Kenobi, or Tera Sinabue?
Anyway, this is an excellent what-if story, my friend; it turns out to be a great ending both for the Jedi, Anakin, and Barris, along with Obi-Wan, without having to deal with the rising of the Galatic Empire and Ashoka leaving the Jedi Order because of the lack of trust from the Jedi.
Hey, this gives me an excellent idea for a future what-if video that may be related to this video: What if Barriss Offee was trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi instead of Luminaria, but she and Anakin had a relationship?
I have a question so far, would Luminaria be a good teacher for Ezra? If she had survived Star Wars Rebels; if she does, would this change her character, or she will be strict? Would she even try to ditch Ezra if things go really bad ( if the number of enemy forces surrounding them) along with Kannan? I would like your opinions and thoughts if she was rescued by the Ghost crew from Star Wars Rebels.

I was surprised when Barris ended up turning against the Jedi (though maybe I shouldn’t have been, since Luminara was okay with just letting her die in that early episode), she seemed so sweet in her early appearances. Plus I always thought she would get along great with Anakin since they’re both more independent minded than the typical Jedi. This would be a very interesting paring 🙂
Sadly, her turning made no sense if you read the Republic comics and the Medstar One duology, because she was 1. a Jedi Healer 2. a staunch pacifist whose primarily lightsaber style was Form III Soresu.

I think after the Zygerria events, Obi-Wan would have a talk with Luminara about how the relationship between Anakin and Barriss is what makes them such a good team because they brought out the best in each other. After seeing the two continue to have success, the Council would start to allow attachments as long as they don't interfere with their duties as Jedi.
I can agree to that; in fact the order use to allow attachments as long as it did not dictate their lives or actions.

Luminara would be taken aback by Obi-Wan's sudden outburst. After some meditation and research into the old Jedi, she would come to realize that she was wrong. Her and Obi-Wan would then lobby for the Jedi Council to change the Jedi Code to allow attachments.

Joined it? She founded it. It was Padmé who laid the groundwork and it was her who gathered and recruited like-minded individuals together to form the Delegation of 2000. She was also the first to say they may need a form a resistance, as was seen in her discussions with Bail, Mon, and Garm Iblis.
Technically in canon and legends (due to the movie novels being legends) her, mon mothma and others are the founders of the rebellion against the empire due to the document they signed in secret during RoTS

Great Video, A LOT more believable than Anakin and Padme and definitely a better outcome for either of them then what Canon did.
Only thing that woulda made it better was the mention of a kiss. Because I'm a sucker for those.
It's possible I missed it in the video though. Might have to pay closer attention on the next watch through.
I think we can assume there were plenty of intimate moments like when they were in Anakin's room together or when they were on the ship together.

It's good, but there are some flaws especially with Palpatine. I sireously doubt that Palps would try the same plan to turn Anakin into a sith like he did in ROTS, I think in this case he would of used Anakin's attachment to barriss offee to get to him. Palpatine was a mastermind manipulator and I think he could get to Anakin one way or another. I don't think he'd ever be desperate.

What if the Jedi council realized that attachments help make people more stable and that the fear of fear was weakening them.
Luminara was essentially a Sith. She was relentless and ruthless in purging all emotions and was cruel in her approach.
She almost let her padawan and another padawan die if not for Anakin’s efforts.
As a whole I really enjoyed this story, I think there were a few time frame discrepancies, but I don't think they took away from the over all story, and I think Sideous died a too easily, but you already addressed that in the video breakdown you did after the story was concluded. When I mention time frame discrepancies I mean the time it would take to take the trip they took to free those forced into servitude, I don't think they could have accomplished that trip in a single night and being left alone to sleep after not sleeping during the trip, however in my mind I can justify that as the reason they got caught, having disappeared for I would say at least 3 days, but still able to cover their tracks so that only the Jedi would know it was them and they would have omitted those facts not wanting to tarnish the reputation of the Jedi, especially since it was not an approved mission. Essentially I was able to enjoy this story while mentally correcting any issues I saw in the story without changing it drastically. These a fun thought exercises and they inspire creativity and to me that is the true value in the stories you create.
As Mr burns would say excellent. Technically Kenobi was following the way Qui Gon trained him. He was stricked but he always bend the code and push the boundaries unlike Kenobi who basically ran his life by the Jedi code. Also liked the fact that Kenobi knew about Barris and Anakin's friendship with Barris and kept it a secret. Kinda like with Anakin and padme. Barris and Anakin would have made a couple . I enjoyed this alot keep up the great work.

i have to say i really enjoy the story and the overall logical sense to it, but i am sorry the hyperspace jump from Zygerria to Tatooine is a bit understated.
"Tatooine is just a short jump away" from zygerria it is almost the whole galaxy xD from Grid S4 to R16.

Great senario, it's very plausible pre-tcw. Funnily enough, i actually had a fanfic i wrote but never published where barris got carbon frozen a few years the end of the clone wars, along with Quinlan Vos, traa saa, and k'kruuk vand decades later luke found them, thawed them out, and they became the council of Luke's Jedi order, and Luke and Bariss got together. ( the carbon freezing eliminating the age difference between the two). I might publish it someday, but I doubt anyone would ever read it.

This looks like a very cool video but I have a suggestion I have an awesome what if story what if the clone army and the droid army worked together so basically what I mean by this is what I just said to join army in the clone army realize that both of them were kind of the same they were both mass-produced and they were both treated badly by the governments and their expendable to the eyes of the people and their leaders so what if the droids and clowns came to an agreement to betray both governments and made their own
