What a crystal clear tone…his voice is 100% the most bulletproof out of the first semi group. Barely any notes out of place, it legit sounded almost exactly like the recording. That’s a true testament to how good his voice is and probably how little editing they had to do on the recording

This is so much better than Sweden this year (Loreen is great, but this song is just a masterpiece) I hope that it gets the recognition it deserves - goosebumps all the way through the song! The voice and the staging was flawless, especially the missiles falling from the sky... Very touching

The best song in ESC 23 for me. Powerful & deep voice, beautiful lyrics with a message, nice building of the song. The choreo was on point in the right moments, not too much but also not stale. I loved the rockets falling onto the stage as these underline the theme of the song.
My two favourites of the night, also, after Käärijä (for quite different reasons, and not only because I'm Finnish, usually the Finnish entry isn't my favourite). I wish there could be different awards for different qualities, Switzerland and Portugal would definitely be contesting for the best vocals.

I 'm surprised but glad to hear that people liked the performance. I m quite the opposite. I ADORED the song (and the official video) since day one but I'm very disappointed with the staging. I found it so underwhelming that I was really surprised to see it qualifying. Switzerland has my favorite song of the year and I was hoping that with a perfect staging that would enhance the emotion and the brilliant message of the song it could even win ESC2023. I was really devastated to see that the stage director completely ignored the emotion and gave us a so cold spectacle. I can't see what touched you of this show but I 'm happy it did.
