I know these movies will always be remembered as sleazy and didn’t age well, but for 90’s kids like me, they will always have a place in my heart. These two roles in particular were casted so well.
It wasn’t just a typical comedy, there was a soul in this movie, all the ridiculousness was so funny and charming at the same time. The actors did a great job.
The second movie for me is the most generic out of the 4 as a standalone experience (i still enjoy it!) but then narratively it's key to the 3rd and 4th movies.

We're not special because we were born in a certain range of years, man. Ever watched All Quiet on the Western Front, or Come and See? How about the old James Bond movies? Good media is still being made, too. People just require the skills to filter out the slop now (not saying there hasn't always been slop, because there has).
Even though I wanted everything to play out with Nadia the way it was suppose to, and see how it would play out in the future between them...I still liked Michelle, and how well she was played by Alyson. So well that the outcome didnt matter, and really felt earned.
Michelle did one of the things to make a man fall in real love with a woman - support him in his most vulnerable, bail him out from smth living dilemma. During such times a man always looks like a complete loser, pathetic, he cant solve his question, or doesnt know how to do it. Thats exact time not to make fun of him, but be close to him and help him. And be cute) That requires some real dedication and warm woman's heart, but in receive you'll get smth you will not find anywhere on the street - you will find a love. A real loving man. Not the one who pretends, but the one who actually feels smth, and its quite rare, but its a solid ground for long-term relationship. And if a man is good, not some jerk - it may be your best husband till the end of days. I know only this way to find real love in life, there maybe other ways, but i dont know
Kids, before Aunt Lily got married with Marshall, she used to date scooter in high school and later Jim. Apart from being an kindergarten teacher and an artist, she used to play flute in her high school days.
Great to see good movies where the actors get to work with real world cast and objects instead of blue/green screens. CGI is great and has its uses but it has been overused and has removed the special personal quality of movies. It’s also great to see actual real world humor instead as well as people not destroying stuff just because they can.

I`d say not these movies - our society didn`t age well. Morality and hate. What a terrible mixture of double standards we have today.

I’d forgotten Want You Bad was in it
And Smooth Criminal (shout out to Michael Jackson & Ant Farm)
This is one of the most underrated love stories in movie history.

Alyson was 27 years old
