Tymon coming back from the dungeon is wild. Never thought he would stop practice Might lose his newest world record for a video 💀 Thank yall for the likes
Personally I like the 14 pro because I turn light so faster turning is nicer, and I like more customization because I have a very specific settings on my gan, and I like a smooth cube.
I had notifications on for an extra year after I quit cubing for this video. Last time I was cubing I beat my PB by so much it made me want to quit or made me less motivated to beat it cause it went from 23 seconds to 14.57 and I got it on camera but yeah I’m glad this is out might get it and get back into cubing. My main cube was a Gan 12 so this review sounds like I’ll enjoy this one
@@shinnskl6222 it's a bit too rough tbh Since like your do great for 24 solves, and then you mess up the next 15 solves and then you do great again for the next few solves. And you go back and forth, the main issue is that not many people are fast enough to finish 100 quickly since its takes time and is exhausting it ls harder to figure out werher your on pace for pb ao100 or your just getting a bad average. Since like 20 bad solves could mess up the ao100
Lol, just keep the 14 pro. The gan 15 is already really good and probably the best cube among all of the gancubes, but you don’t need to literally comtemplate about your life choices on whether you want to get the gan 15 or not
The first Gan I tried (or pretty much any speed cube for that matter) was my friends Gan 356x I think it was, so when I got the 13 it was the best cube I have ever tried, but I have nothing else to compare it to.
I have been using the 11 M Pro since it came out. It is surprising that this one is 3 grams lighter. Hard to believe how making the customization more modular made the cut. I am thinking about getting this cube soon.
What I don't understand is: 1: In Gan's promos, why is the one without the extra plastic skirt said to be "winged", and the one WITH the extra plastic is "wingless". Surely it's meant to be the other way around??? 2: Gan's promo also says the one with the skirt is meant to make the cube faster than the other center pieces. How is the one with extra plastic supposed to make the cube "faster"? Surely the extra plastic increases friction, and so slows the cube down? Edit: I've found that the english translation of the promo posters on speedcubeshop's page are incorrect. So the ones WITHOUT the extra plastic skirt are for speed, and the skirt is meant for stability. I read the original untranslated posters and they are the correct way around.
I don't have a good answer to the second question, but I can answer the first. The cube was originally meant to come with the winged centers installed and the others on the side, but we discovered that the winged centers make the cube difficult to assemble and can damage the edges if you use too much force to put the last piece in the cube
@@StevenWintringham Ok, I was thinking that but I didn't want to look dumb by going "do you work for the cubicle" like asking "do you work for nintendo" when someone talks about a console. I'm also relatively new so if you've been mentioned or on the channel or anything, I don't know everyone yet
The only thing I'm really scared about is them releasing a "15 Pro" with edge to core magnets... And the fact that you weirdly only get the extra center pieces in the first batch of cubes. So if you don't preorder, you won't get those alternate center pieces...
The radius of the core magnets is very small in this cube and it actually feels kind of like a 20 magnet core with repelling edge magnets because of it. The sides of the long corner magnets repel the sides of the two adjacent core magnets mid-turn
@@StevenWintringham That's nice, and also explains something else I was thinking about, which is how they were advertising that it has the same degree of auto alignment as the 14 but without having those edge magnets
$70 maybe cheaper but its still really expensive if this is close to the 12 i may consider getting it but not anytime soon. im using the 12 as my main and i really like it
Should I buy the moyu v10, or gan15? I prefer smooth but flexible either fast or slow cubes. The v5 is what I get the best times on, but I get some catching with how wide the pieces and the centers are. I also use the gan12, but even on that I get additional pops and lockups that dont make much sense
