Obviously I knew we wouldn't get him, but that I how much I liked his game, his approach!
He is the best Safety in the League, and I sincerely believe he could be an outside shot at DPOY someday soon!
And THAT I saying something, considering that Safeties almost never get brought up for that award!

I’m hoping TT would bring him and/or Fuller for vet minimum (or incentive heavy deals) for depth and rotation. Health has been a problem for both, but a rotational roles may help them stay healthy
I was at the Monday night game. Tough loss. Verrett was a dog against ab. Never seen anyone travel with him the whole game. Wish verrett could’ve stayed healthy. He would’ve been unreal

Yes, it is unfortunate that the AFC has been getting better over the past 4 seasons, and now has 5 of the Top 8 Teams in the NFL. However, that will simply make the Chargers a better, stronger team for when they make it to the Super Bowl!
Get Home Field Advantage... I feel like that will be the key to winning the AFC. The teams at the very Top of the AFC (KC, Buffalo, Patriots, Pittsburgh... none of those places is ideal for winning in January! ), each of those teams is tough at Home.

Lifelong Charger fan since I was born in 83. In fact I grew up in National City just 15 minutes from Jack Murphy Stadium. This is the team I have dreamt about for 38 years, all the ups and downs it’s our window. Bolt up baby! Love MACK!!

Staley had completely changed the culture of this team. He’s the real deal and everything you want in a leader. Without him, we don’t get JC, Khalil, SJD. He’s WHY everyone wanted to come here. We finally have it. A franchise QB on a rookie deal, a top 10 defense and a real head coach who will learn from a few gambles taken his rookie year. 2022,2023 is our window before Herbert is due the big bucks. Hoping he’s nice enough to take 40M/yr fully guaranteed instead of asking for 60M/yr to allow the team to thrive

Being a Charger fan since pretty much birth, and to see what Coach Staley is building with MY TEAM, gets me pretty emotional! It is pretty evident, he emphasizes 'relationships' with his players and that is (IMO), the # 1 priority with an impactful coach, PERIOD! You can trace it back to pee-wee, high school, and college. I'm sure all of you can recall a specific teacher, mentor, coach who you would go to battle for!!! BUILD IT, AND THEY WILL COME!!!!!

As a Seahawk fan, I am going to be rooting for the Chargers this season. My team traded away HOF talent, and the replacements look disappointing. You can feel the build up to something great with this organization. They are also 1 of 12 teams that have never won a SB. That defense on paper looks looks like a SB caliber defense, and that offense has improved each year. I think Charger fans are in for a great season this year.

I really love what the Chargers Media team has done over the past few years. They've clearly leveraged their geographic location and found some very talented creative minds to run their media. As a fan of the Giants who also roots for the Chargers, it truly is night and day between the team's media. It permeates everywhere, even the reporters for the Chargers are infinitely better than other reporters I've seen. People definitely have reason to disagree with the move to LA but the Chargers have made some smart decisions since then.

Before 2020 it was decades of not watching NFL, triggered when Joe Gibbs & Bobby Beathard Jr left Washington. In 2020 a local guy I’ve watched since 2016 got a chance to play because of errant syringe handling. Most of the NFL talking heads poo poo’d his quiet demeanor, saying the Bolts made a mistake. I watched the Sept 20, 2020 game because my first team favorite was Willy Lanier’s Chiefs, and maybe that local guy would get play time in Q4. Well you know how it went…he proved his mettle, and I saw mettle in other Bolts too. Today the Bolts are playing with heart, mind, and spirit. I plan to keep watching the excitement!!!
