      It's more of the multiple blocks things. We've seen time after time you can block once, you block a second time you're more than likely wrecking. Guys have so much speed on these runs that you just gotta accept it after the first block doesn't work. Now, in that case I don't blame Newman it's the 500 and coming to the checkered.

    Bell's flip wasn't caused by a bad block, it was caused by pushing through on the exit of the tri-oval when the trucks are incredibly unstable

    Kinda ironic how the first one resulted in Kyle Busch winning, and the second one was a bad block by him that got him wrecked. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Lol

      NASCAR commentary became gradually more animated over time as the sport grew in popularity. Even as the sport declined in the 2010s, the animated yelling during crashes stuck around. Then when Dale Jr. stepped into the booth there was a sharp increasing in yelling again.

    0:30 The origin of the term "Douchey Booschy Blocking."

  • @twisterduck1944
    @twisterduck1944 Месяц назад

    The thing is though that it is very very hard to perform a good block. Especially at the end of races drivers are going to do whatever to keep someone behind. Sometimes they just miss time it or spotters clear them. If they don’t go for some of those blocks they automatically lose the race. Crazy how people don’t understand that and just want to clown on drivers. Obviously there are bad blocks but context is also important. I am more open to forgive a driver for a bad block at the end of the race going for the win than one 30 laps into a race.

    Here is my point if you don't mind me mentioning it. The race and the crash are exciting enough as it is. We don't need (as it was stated) animated yelling regarding a crash. Its actually sickening. Much like the WWE or something. It is also predominated in the NFL when a player makes a spectacular play, catch, or touchdown. Instead of letting the game or in this case the race bring about excitement. The announcers (or FOX, NBC, Etc.) feel that its needed to bring about the excitement of the crash. Then when its all said and done the announcers say things like. "Well, we hope he is ok" or "the Safety Crew is there and he appears to be ok." or "he dropped his window net which is a signal that the driver is ok" Guess I'm done with nascar as a whole.
