Tax cuts mean nothing if you are laying dying on the hospital floor.
Depends if tax increases changes that though I guess. If not then I'd rather have the extra cash so I can go private. The tories spend more on the NHS every year and it gets worse every year.
@@leeeeee286 good luck with that extra $2 pound a week paying for private hospital care.....as in most things...its the management of the system. which is the problem...people who dont care about public health care dont want it to succeed.
@@kingmilanovic6733I agree, but I think we have opposite problem in that the existing NHS model doesn't work anymore and it's those who love the NHS most who block the need for its reform. For one, we need to stop handing out free healthcare to millionaires and provide free access on a needs basis only - as most of the developed world does. But other minor changes would help such as giving authority to private pharmacies to diagnose and prescribe treatment for certain health conditions could take pressure off the NHS.
I do agree with you that in an ideal world a well funded functional public system would be great, but its in none of our interest to continue to fund the NHS in its current form given how poor the quality of healthcare is for what we pay. Even if we increased 10% that's obviously not going to help much. Realistically we'll need to increase funding 20-30%, costing us an extra ~£50b a year, but where are we going to realistically find that money? That would be an extra £750 a year on all our of tax bills - which is almost enough to go private.
I'll also note that most people under the age of 60 currently massively overpay for healthcare through the NHS because it's basically a service for the elderly paid for by young workers. Given that ~25% of 60+ are millionaires we should question the fairness of this system since it effectively acts as a wealth transfer from the poor to rich. (That's why I'm not in favour of free healthcare for millionaires).
100% lad just doesn't get it. He get asked specifically about public services not working and he says we will cut taxes, brainless.
Our children are better readers now. They need to be able to read street signs now to find food banks.
Not only that. To lie to people and promise things.
“No I don’t have any working class friend” can naff right off
Big Thumbs Up to Political TV 👍🇬🇧
shame it's not his material though.
thank you very much for this from a expat living in USA
Thank you so much! Please do consider buying me a coffee via the caption link, it really helps
The Liberal Democrats only gave a very short interview. It's seems that the BBC only really covers the BIG TWO. This is poor, particularly when so many are turning towards the smaller parties
Sunak is incredibly incredibly incredibly arrogant. The only reason who repeated the racist slur said about him is to try to bring a certain group of voters closer to him. He was not at all vocal about other racist comments… when it didnt suit him and his narrative he tried to brush them away asap. When it suited him he is trying to ride the wave.
I hope this is one of the lastof such interviews we have to see with Richi
The best readers in the western world? Most can't spell properly
To be the best reader of the message/ideological belief system, is all that 'they' need.
I now live in Slovenia and the education here is second to none. The children all speak their own language and English, some even speak German and or/Italian. When was the last time Sunak was in a UK supermarket and the assistant on the till started speaking to him in German by mistake because thought he was German? Bar staff in the local cafes are all required to be at least bi-lingual. We have experience of the Education system because our two granddaughters born to an English mother attend school here and we occasionally we get to talk to some of their teachers. Next term our eldest granddaughter will be attending the equivalent of sixth form college sixty miles away in Ljubljana, the capital city. After that she will go on to university.
Thanks for the upload. Sunak's tetchy/butthurt nature is infuriating to watch but hopefully for not much longer.
Thank you so much! Please do consider buying me a coffee via the caption link, it really helps
Sunak sounds like a broken record... And has a very selective memory. Lots of words come out of "it" but none of them are truthful.
Don't surrender to Laura Kuenssberg!
It’s the end of Fishy Rishy!
WTF proud of his campaign!? 😂🤣
???
These career politicians make me laugh lol
Their whole strategy is "it will be much worse if you vote for the other side"
Kunesberg the mate of Osbornes click…so evident here.
The guy is deluded
Hopefully the UK will get an actual Englishman in power again, not some person who sees themselves British
@AlexThipthorp Yes..its much better to have a white face robbing you than a brown one.
@@AlexThipthorp you hit the real problem with this country - its not Labour vs Conservatives, its Brown vs White and no one has guts to say it. very British
BBC should give this programme to Emma Barnett or Victoria Derbyshire, who are much better interviewers than LK.
My estimation of Sunak has gone up. He was very firm and decisive here & shut her down so he could finish.
He is always shutting people down and talking over them!
@@cyberprince8272 sign of leadership and not a mind changer to gain votes
It's going to be an incredible election
The energy company is completely unexplained. Is this a utility company or just a money grab
I was under the impression that it was a not for profit energy company with the aim of reducing bills back down... It appears more like a money grab for private companies.
Sunak has no compassion. Its all about money. Can't wait for them to go. I'm even going to watch it. Can't wait!
Sunak spends all his time trying to fix Labour instead of telling us what he can do.
And who will be in? Starmer? A man that is as decisive as a jelly? BTW, if I were there I'd probably vote farage. Common sense politics.
He hasn't mentioned Corbyn yet.....lol
I ❤ the theme song. 😊
Kuenssberg is a terrible interviewer...she literally does not want to hear any responses! Its all about HER!
Much prefer Trevor Phillips on Sky, better interviewer, better panel, more big picture. Kuenssberg always get stuck on yes-no questions on minutiae. Her panel is always partisan, whereas the Sky panel tends to rise above making cheap political points. And I agree she doesn't listen to the answers but keeps banging on about the same points that have already been answered just leave the listeners to judge the adequacy of the answers!
OK Rishi.
Just a few hours for this charade to be over.
Sunak just can't wait to be back to California, making more millions with edge funds.
Being UK PM was just a hobby.
My, looking forward what will happen afterwards!
"OUT OF TOUCH"
How can we live stream the bbc election program outside of the UK? I’m an American and love British politics
She is such a crap interviewer
Poor old Tory fan girl
L Konservative.
The GB Energy estimate is total bollocks, the green energy transition is going to be very costly and this will filter into bills. Labours statement it will save 300 quid is no more credible than Rishi saying new oil and gas licenses will lower bills, its an international market, its not reserved for sale in the UK. Unless the suggestion is we will produce SO much oil and gas in the UK that we will disrupt and lower costs across all of the EU.
Can the government equally invest in a steel factory to convert into green steel factory
SNp 😂 jokers
At least we know what they stand for and have clear morals.
Voter didn't decide to use pencil on polling station. Its donor master wants not voters.
Sunak's false idol is money. From Winchester, thru uni, and his time making his millions, money money money has been his god. It is the all and centre of his soul - not that you could say he has one! You watch, if/when he loses the election he will uproot his family, including his daughters - who are doing their exam years!! - just so he can make more money.
His politics is ground on finance and wealth: if you have a lot of money you will be proportionately happier. Of course it helps but for Sunak money is oxygen.
Just take Hester. He can could say anything, including gross racist etc comments but for Sunak the money Hester gives means no matter how bad the comments the money speaks louder. The man is a shallow weak soulless individual.
actually Sunak we are 7th if you remove services..
It's time that she sacked the Torry supporter,
Sunack appears to be the jack of all trades and the master of None . Why hasn't he rectified the big problem in the NHS ,immigration ,more immigrants coming over now than before he became PM. He is attempting to bully Laura .Stop him !!!
4 days to go 💥 👓.
you don't like it up ya do ya ?
Like how he is getting stroppy with her. Go Rishi. 😂
Laura, your ethics are abhorrent!!
He stinks
No Reform commentator? Oh, it's BBC.
Petulant little man...
Sunak was brillaint, man is a genius
He has a point !! U know , why risk it with labour, just crazy and have open borders , mental
Get rid of Laura, the Tory mouthpiece. Replace her with Ali Fortescue. Greetings from Australia.
