Yea peeps like hating on Splatoon 2 but I really liked in in the early days were they buffed the crap out of weak weapons. like they saw no one was using splat brella when it first came out and gave it like 9 buffs in 1 patch. I wish they would do something that crazy again

@@ShurikanBladeI don't think that they will do complete custom kits because it would really break some weapons (tsk splatoon 1 vslosher) but I could see them adding a system where you can select 3 different subs and specials that you can mix match on the 3rd kits, and the badge logo in game will be of that sub and special and the grade tier of the combo, (C,B,A,S). If a certain combo is too overpowered they can easily balance the tier of set, for example slosher with burst bomb will be C tier and it will have it's outside hitbox be 25 damage instead of 32 preventing the indirect combo it had in Splatoon 1 Also I'd love to see if you could customize the look of 3rd kits like the locker feature

Another reason I'm anti custom kits cuz it would jusy be "main weapon with best sub (usually burst bomb) and best special at the time" which would just lead to a less fun game. Maybe in PBs only but I doubt they'd add such a system to a mode not many people use relative to the rest of the game.
While may not be possible for splatoon 3 but for splatoon 4. I think Nintendo should make kits customizble to some form/extent. Having kits be pre-determined is becoming unsustainable at this point, because there's just too many weapons in this game now and that new weapons are being added at slower rates than previous games (we should've already been onto third kits a season ago). Also more impotantly, it ensures that weapons cannot simply be held back by never getting the kit it needs, even if it's the bare minimum for viability.
While I do agree. The problem with this is that it basically just boils down to choosing the best sub (burst or fizzy) and the best special and it doesn't really invite to diversity or different playstyles/experimentation. It also will bring an even worse balancing problem because then they'll only nerf what's in use and probably buff weak weapons, subs and specials even less because of how little they're being used.

Bombs especially would have to be reworked to reduce their versatility whether it's nerfing either their paint or damage output and/or buffing bomb counter specials such as ultra stamp. Again I am tolerant to some restrictions/conditions such as combo-specific debuffs or a weight limiter that prevents players from running certain op combos. Or just limit the weapon to a pool of subs and specials, or even just ban some sub/specials from certain weapons/classes

I am still waiting on my new brush kit but I can definitely agree the game has a balancing issue. I 5 star 2 brushes and that journey led to a lot of sniper and machine gun power creep

good video despite splatoon 3 having weak options its easily the most balanced multiplayer shooter game I’ve played, nothing in the game is overwhelmingly toxic and frustrating to deal with, perfect example is overwatch shields and tf2’s vaccinator, splatoon 3 design wise is almost perfect, I’m so happy I found a game where I say “woah! there isnt a weapon in this game that can one shot you from an infinite range!”
Oh it def is good at not having insanely broken weapons but since the roster is humongous being almost 120 weapons it really let's weak weapons slip through cracks imo.

Bows have gotten done pretty dirty, mid or trash kits, not great at fighting compared to other weapons, and they just feel like they’ve been an afterthought to the devs for a new weapon compared to the splatanas even though they’re the cover weapon and swords were just the “oh these are here too” weapon. Devs made the bows and then didn’t know what to do next and now we have trash like iBow and dFlux
Yeah the bow kits are pretty awful and the worst part is that theres nothing special feeling about the bows. You can get way more value just using a splatling or a charger

Flingza just needs a more efficient kill range (give it the mpu buff Nintendo it should ve killing at around splattershot range) and not have 5 years worth of whiting frames. Seriously you gutted missiles to be unspammable but didn’t compensate for the weapons that have them. Goober needs to have more range at partial charge, flingza needs to be able to fight, and wiper deco need…honestly wiper needs to be affected by run speed
@@ShurikanBlade nah flingza is fundamentally flawed because it now has to compete with stamper who not only has more threatening range attacks but can work better in more comps. The problem of giving weapons crab is that crab options have a massive downside of not being splash/dualies. Stamper already has a hard time getting rushed down after a crab, flingza wont even have much of fighting chance either because hflick is so bad that even with mpu buffs in 2 it was still very bad.
@@ShurikanBlade i did play a lot of flingza back in 2 so yeah I know how good it was with mpu, and the maps aint helping flingza either with how immobile it can be.
Really stamper is too good? I play carbon roller and stamper and I guarantee u carbon roller is easier and stamper requires more skill after all the nerfs stamper has gotten it isn’t top 5 but yes a top 10. Wiper is better than stamper also in my opinion and what I think really needs a nerf is the fire rate of splatling guns so they don’t go through ultra stamp
Most pros would say it's top 5 minimum. It definitely requires a high skill level to play it at its best which is amazing for the weapon but the problem isn't that stamper is "too good" I think it's well balanced. The problem I have is simply that other weapons are too bad, if that makes sense.

yeah, i think the biggest issue is that some weapons are really good at low level but are horrible at high level like roller
I use ink brush and have fun with it but some maps feel like pain with it
