Hi, sorry, we're not so sure on a Fabia why that would be as it works for each Volkswagen. Have you tried the spare - is it the same? Are there settings within the dash that allow you to turn the function on/off? Beyond that we would suggest a call to your Skoda Retailer. It may just be a feature it doesn't have via the remote.
