I'm 5 years late to this but I agree wholeheartedly. Not only did they do Florence justice, the background vocals and use of instruments were streamlined to sound so much smoother. The blending, the shifts, the transitions are all so 👌👌👌

4 senior girls sang this for the ballon releasing for Red Ribbon Week at my high school today at lunch. Everyone was drawn to tears because they sang this song so beautifully. Everyone cried. And it was beautiful to see how many people cared about driving under the influence.
people say this cover lacks strength, and i don't disagree, but there's such passion and such a heart wrenching backstory to it that it makes up for whatever lacks there are.
I never get tired of hearing glee's version of this song. The only problem that i have is with the lyrics... ima need someone somewhere to fix them immediately.

I love how different their voices are, yet go so well together, their voices sound so raw and beautiful, they should've sung more songs together. They deserved more acoustic songs like this one. Everything about this song is so fucking perfect. To be completely honest I don't really like Jenna's(Tina's) voice that much but she killed it and her parts are my fave of the song. Naya's(Santana's) voice sounded so soft and raw which made it really stand out, it gave me chills.
