I love this version a lot, but I have to disagree on the part where you say Taylor doesn't show any true feelings. It's cuz you have a story line that you know for this version, and because they're actors. Taylor wrote the song, we don't know what exactly happened for her to write then sing the song so you(you not as in specifically you) can't find her emotions in the song.
I like how the first lyrics are true, Santana is in collage waiting tables, and left a small town. But, also during to song, it says "flash forward were taking on the world together" right before they break up and then the get married and there taking on the world together.

She helped me accept my sexuality and come out to my parents and me, along with millions are devastated with the news. It really irks me when I find comments as, “like if you’re here after hearing the news 💔😭😪”. That’s what we’re not gonna do, show some respect please.
