one time i got left around downtown and i asked people for money for a bus ticket to get home. The one guy who gave me something was a homeless guy he was like excuse me r u asking for money i have $5 i can give you and he gave it to me, and i told me i only $1.59 though and he said money doesn't matter as long as the next generation is ok. i came back the next and gave him $100 and he said money doesn't mean anything. I said look dude it's almost christmas it's cold go get urself a thick jacket sweatpants a blanket pillow and tent. then i realized i didn't give him enough for food so i bought a gallon of water and made 5 sandwiches and left it next to his backpack. if you read this ty just know if you are kind something kind will happen to you.

I will never believe this that’s my cousin his name is Vincent and just got out of prison and My family was the last ones to send him to prison last time I saw him he went into my work at Foodmaxx and shot up and I was sitting there cleaning up all his blood the time before that he started shooting up in my bathroom at a Christmas party the day before that he shot up at my cousins baby shower his whole family knows what he spent that money on and I bet he will be going straight back to prison

Eish, am a South Africa... I have followed your video on homeless people all left me in tears. This man is homeless but he is trying to be happy as much as he can, he gives the little he has and get more than he give. I have seen lots of people who have money living unhappy life. This has a lot of meaning to me due to the path I went through in life. I never give up on my dream and today am a weekend radio announcer and a retail store manager during weekdays. Its people like this who give me the courage to move forward no matter the difficulties and setbacks of life.

one time i was with my dad and he gave me 20 dollars for washing his car. i passed a man on the curb holding a sign that said Help homeless for two years hungry... and i asked if he was ok. he said no. i gave him my whole allowence plus a few quarters that were in my pocket. there was a grocery store next block over, so i walked him there.

Because some wealthy people all they care about is themselves and not others. Most homeless people try to love themselves and love others because that's all they have so they try to make the best out of their lives and spread love to all. (I tried explaining the best I could) :)

I can't believe it, this is my brother ,in spirit, Vinney. I met him when I was visiting Sacramento Jails with Celebrate Recovery, than again later when my worship band was playing at the Union Gospel Mission Down town Sac for homeless people , than once more when he became my client in outpatient drug treatment. He went missing unannounced and I have wondered for almost a year now where he went and what happened to Vinney, than tonight just bouncing around on you tube I like to watch " human kindness " and there he is ..... It looks like Down town Sac still ,, i can notice some of the back drop , I pray to God my brother is alright tonight, I know he has suffered so many different things , and yet he has such kindness ,I always saw his gentleness under the anger he use to use to cover it up with.. May The God who was and is to come have Mercy on Vinney where ever he is tonight.......... Brian is thinking of you Brother
Homeless persons understands how hard to be homeless, helpless and hopeless. So they dont like seeing other people suffering that kind of position too, so they help them. All i can say is people like them are amazing

I spent 2.5 years homeless, living in a tent, panhandling...which is the most degrading thing a person can do...just to eat & survive daily. Any profit I would make I would use to help my fellow homeless community. One time I was sitting outside of a gas station crying, for I just got beaten up by the man I was running with. I was so broken, lost, depressed, suicidal. A man pulled up, came up to me & said " you look so sad, I am very sad too, do you mind if I sit & talk with you?". I felt honored & just so grateful that someone wanted to talk to me for most people would just stare, even laugh at me. He went into the gas station, & came out with snacks & drinks. He sat down & proceeded to tell me that he just found out he was HIV positive, currently had 6 months clean & sober, & wanted to drink so bad. He was on his way to an AA meeting, but felt compelled to sit & talk with me instead. I too am an alcohlic, at the time I was still plagued with alcoholism, & I used to be a huge part of AA in the area for I had 5 yrs clean & sober ( I soon will celebrate 4yrs clean & sober again). We talked for over an hour. He missed his meeting, but told me that talking with me was better than any meeting & I had helped him not want to take a drink. This was in Temecula, Southern California, where you can buy alcohol anywhere, & he honestly stopped at the gas station to buy alcohol & possibly go kill himself instead of going to meeting. He said he saw me & I saved his life😢🙏. After giving me one of the biggest, most warm embrace I had in a LONG time, he told me he had to go, but wanted to give me a gift for taking the time to talk with him & talk him out of wanting to drink & possibly hurt/kill himself. I told him he brought so much light & love into my heart &, plus made me feel human & that was the greatest gift one could have given me. I refused any gift, but he insisted. He went into his Jeep & pulled out a bag with money in it. He gave me another huge hug, thanked me again & drove off. I got up & went somewhere private to see what I recieved (If I would of looked where I was I probably would have gotten robbed...by someone I knew & helped even). I sat down & opened what looked like a bag of change & a wad of $1 bills. Here a $1 was used toconceal what was inside...$1200. Inside was 2 notes ( I wondered why he was in his car for 5 minutes prior to giving me the gift). The first note said "I...Thomas _...saved this money to buy a gun, get a hotel room & a bunch of meth & alcohol...& kill myself...4/17/16'". The second said "You, my dear Melissa, are an angel. Use this gift to bless yourself for you have changed & saved my life. I will never forget you & I pray you make it off the streets, get away from the asshole who keeps hurting you, & I pray to see you again at a meeting, clean & sober". WOW! I cried for days, then called my Mom saying I want & ready to come home & get sober. On July 16, 2016 my Mom flew out to get me & I now have my own apartment & have been clean & sober ever since. This was not a RUclips experiment, this was life changing for myself & Thomas. I am crying as I type this for I will NEVER forget this day, I will never forget you Thomas. Taking the time to talk with a stranger who looks like they need kindness & love is the most rewarding gift God could ever give.

We where about 2 get a house but my step dad doesn't have papers and the guy freaked out and made a exus that we can't oford that house but we could and bec my mom makes what a ners make and she takes care of old peps at night 😕 the 1s that r in bad conduction/dying and the homles house is in a NOTHER STATE where we live so that's y they pay her a big paycheck. I am thankful 4 a roof on our heads... Internet,food what he didn't have that so at least I could give him some money 4 him 2 eat👍

I live in Australia. I go to the dentist at central station. One day when I went to the dentist there where terrible storms and rain. There was a homeless man with a dog shivering in the cold. I felt sorry for him and his dog so I went into the Woolworths metro super market and bought him 2 whole roasted chickens and enough dog food for a week. When I have him the food and dog food his face lit up with joy and thankfulness and I said to my self god I’m so blessed. If you read this continue to spread the positivity and remember that we are all the same no matter rich or poor
He didn't even question how he took out $500 after he said he lost his wallet and couldn't afford meds xD

I got evicted from my apartment a few years ago. I had an epileptic seizure while cooking and the kitchen caught fire. Yeah evicting me was wrong but there was nothing I could do. I have a cat and I spent every day panhandling to keep her in a kennel. The people at the kennel were so awesome to me they took what I could give them which wasn't much, and never hassled me, or threatened to kick my kitty out. I finally got a place, and when the month was over I got my SSI check and paid the remainder, but the people at that kennel were awesome.
I was so touch what he said "im survivor"cause every homeless needs to survive, just to support there everyday life, and i was so amaz what he did to help the other homeless also..
