The overall emotion of this score is "This can't be real! This can't be real! This can't be real!"

The drastic transition from somewhat serene to horrific at 2:50 is just awesome.

Where's the symphonic piece that Maggie plays with her friend at the beginning of the film? That, mixed with the mutilated dog and the rescue team ripped apart and hanging, was excellent❗

If someone does a remake of this movie:
    - the graphic scenes need to be removed or replaced with less graphic ones- the beheading and stomping on someone's head is implied, not shown, for example.
-Katahdin should resemble more of a normal bear, but not too much. Loving grizzly bears, I had a great amount of sympathy and pain for her as well as her cubs, but at least some of her face should have resembled a normal animal.
    - And instead of Rob drowning the cub, I'd suggest they have him toss the cub away and the mother find it. Then as she picks up and shows love to her dying cub, the audience gets a rest from the action and gets to see a tender moment from her and they and the characters reconnect with what she was originally meant to be, not the monster that she has become. And then she continues her attack and pursuit of the people.
    - Lastly, have her still getting injured during the finale, but let her back away and die also from her sick condition. This brings the viewer back to the point of the movie:consequences of environmental pollution.
Ideally, I'd love for the above changes to be applied to the current movie, but I don't think that is going to happen. Still it was a scary, but very heartbreaking movie.

TheRivrPrncess So remove one of the original movie's major strong points, thereby ensuring that such a remake will be a complete failure? All because you're a giant baby? Yeah, I don't think so.

Here is what I think of this comment and what should be done in the event of a Prophecy remake:
-Making the remake less violent than the original movie is a terrible idea, because the movie would be like all horror movies from today, which only show you 3 seconds of a gore scene/do not show you it, instead of the entirely graphic scene. I understand that they do it for more audience, but it is also necessary to have a level of gore equal to or even higher than the original film's.
-The redesign of Katahdin should move away from the proposal of making her look more like a normal bear, and should lean towards the idea of making her look like her counterpart from the novel of the movie, where she is an amalgamation of all the creatures of the forest. Even then I would like that they keep her original bear-like appearance.
-The idea of Katahdin getting sentimental when seeing her dead cub is a bit silly, but it's still a good one.
-If Katahdin died from the condition she is in, then there would be no history, because with this idea she would already be dead from the moment of her birth. She should be stabbed to death as in the original movie, but she should be stabbed in other more effective locations.
      That is what I think.
