I love that game, Kensei is my favorite fighting game in the PS1, it has great moveset and are easy to execute and master, the fighting mechanics and physics way more advance than tekken, the problem is tekken 3 was release more than a year before kensei was release, and tekken was already an establish name, and sets a high standard in fighting game, a few problem with kensei is Aesthetics, most of the stage design feels bland and generic, another thing is the unlockabllle characters are mostly just a reskin of the characters above them, with minor changes in their move set, last thing additional mode and story, in tekken, each character have their own video ending, and you can even unlock new modes like tekken ball.. this is just a few reason why kensei was outshined bby other fighting games on PS1
Thank u Gamerprove for making this video about less known PS1 games. It allows me to know the other less popular game on the PS1. Playstation 1 is indeed the best consoles system with so many great games around. Thanks.
Oh GOD! Nostalgia just punched me right in the gut when I saw Thousand Arms... One of the first games I've ever played and THE first game I've ever finished. And I was playing FF 7, 8 AND 9(my #1 favorite FF game) and Tales of Destiny 2(now called Tales of Eternia) around the exact same time. So I REALLY enjoyed this game more that the four that's still popping out new series.
"Aquanauts Holiday" was waaaaaaay ahead of its time, I vividly remember magazine reviews about this game making fun of it for not being a real game, offering nothing and being strange. Nowadays it would be embraced as relaxing and cozy exploration game. Could really use a modern remake or at least a re-release I'd say.
Same here albert fish! And I'm planning on upgrading mine eventually to get a more full PS1 library to go along with the rest of the standard setup. Every homeless person needs a loaded PSP, but too bad most of them probably don't like games.
Gungage is a good game , but too short . My favorite character in the game is Styr Harkebus (not sure how's the name correct written ^^) , you get her if you find a poster of her on the wall .
Small Soldiers! I love that game! One of my top tens for the console. I never beat it without cheats, though. I started replaying it a while ago but stopped because of reasons. Must get back to playing it. I also remember that Shrek game. God it was awful. I couldn't figure out what to do, and those mini games were hard.
If Sega looked at Running High, and used that as sort of a reference for Sonic R, I think they would have actually made a great on foot racing game, also the style makes me think of Pepsiman
Does anyone remember a ps1 game where you're in like a tank or mech suit or something like that where you are underground rather on Earth or some alien planet fighting monsters. And I remember the opening cutscenes shows you have a sister and that you have a dead parent (I can't remember if it was the father or mother). I've been looking everywhere and can't think of it!
can't find 2 games of my childhood ;/ first is a racing game but the thing it was special was that it could drive upside down (if car colapse on roof it still drive) and second game it was about robots, you start one of 3 (probably) robots which you set your weapons before and you start in the city.
Does anyone know a PS1 game, which is a skateboard (I think) or a pizza delivery guy, I don't remember its name, the city was open world, does anyone know what it is?
ten of thousands of video games released if you combine all consoles from early 90s to early 2000s . I won't buy latest consoles , I would just turn a pc into gaming rig using emulators , and connecting usb steering wheel and game controlers , so that my kids , nieces and nephews enjoy them
Someone knows a racing game that it had you tap de X button as fast as you can and it would make the characters run quick, it had other feactures like swimming and so. It had multiplayer, and i cant remember the name of it. if someone knows it, tell me please
Playing with a LCD screen is really hard with a PS1. Today, I have a PS2, it's good but graphics looks ugly on my 32" TV... Maybe playstation games have been ugly from the beginning, I don't know because I was a PC player when the PS1 and PS2 were recent. That's why I'm looking for the best solution concerning graphics.
Kensei was actually a good fighting game, it met its demise too soon because it was released with tekken 3 during the same period.
And it had Steven Seagal , unlike Tekken
@@karlluigi1987 I thought the Kensei fighters looked better. More polys and textures.
ps games are truly gems that you can always play again and again and again...
Thank u Gamerprove for making this video about less known PS1 games. It allows me to know the other less popular game on the PS1. Playstation 1 is indeed the best consoles system with so many great games around. Thanks.

It was a great game
Gungage is a good game , but too short . My favorite character in the game is Styr Harkebus (not sure how's the name correct written ^^) , you get her if you find a poster of her on the wall .
