Today we got our hands on a BMW i8, let me tell you i was very sceptical at first because a lot of people talk bad about it until i started driving it. The combination of sport and comfort was beautiful. People loved it and everybody looked at it. More on the I8 in our video.

Lovely review. I own an i8 too would never exchange it I Daly it too. Interesting what you said about the power I felt it feels like more hp then the rated power as of the motors instant toque

@@azizdrives thanks for the reply. A lot of pe6 don't like these cars in the comments over the internet but I don't they don't know what they are talking about or never experienced one. One guy said they are terrible because you can't rev it. Sone think it's fully electric but on the street most people are fascinated by it.

Hi Anderson thanks for the question. The original idea was to call it Drive and because by now everybody knows that my name is aziz i just start with drive, but you're right i'll have to check with my team.

The said "lag" between petrol engine AND electric motor is noticeable only when the petrol engine is not up to temps and driver wants hard / semi hard acceleration -> software is limiting the petrol engine power due the cold engine oil. When engine has been driven hard, its fully in temps, then there's no "lag" between petrol engine and electric motor. They work seamlessly then. I own 2014 i8, I kind of know the "symptoms" when this happens.
What indeed is noticeable is that because of the instant torque of electric motor -> car feels much faster than claimed 357bhp suggest. The every day throttle response is insane compared to normal combustion engine sports car like Porsches, BMW M-cars, Merc AMG:s etc. Of course biggest downsize this all is that the "soundtrack" of i8 is very, very artificial...
