this trailer came out 6 years ago and made such an impression on me that I still go back and watch it. the sound design, the music, the pacing. such a great trailer.
Ender man It could be a special round and without the casing you can't 100% identify what type it was and that can make it harder to identify what type of gun was used. Reason why I say that last bit was because some guns can actually fire the same rounds as others. An example would be that some revolvers can fire the same 9mm rounds used in Glocks. So even if the bullet was recovered and wasn't a special round, it leaves inconclusive results and is useless evidence aside from proving that the victim was murdered with that specific bullet.
I cannot say how clever it is to use someone’s breathe as the beat for the background music. And the way it speeds up means he’s getting closer and closer to his targets. Whoever came up with the idea for this trailer did a phenomenal job
2:10 That single moment is so incredible. His facial expression. The vigorous action of the slide. The preciseness of the casing catch. This is the Hitman I know and love. Merciless, cunning, precise. Gets the job done every time...flawlessly. Looking very much forward to Hitman once again.
True, but it gets even better when you realize that subtle change to "side grip", to make the casing jump up and back to him, instead of away from him.
This trailer is genius on many levels but that 3 second shot of 47 tilting his gun at the end tell us everything you need to know about his character. He's a killer (the gun obviously), he tilts it to look extra cool but he's doing the tilt to catch the shell (showing how smart he is). So that 3 second shot tells you he's a cool but incredibly intelligent killer. That's economic storytelling without a single word right there!

No joke, one of the best video game trailers ever made. Not only is it so well mixed with the audio and the visual but it's extremely dense in what's going on, but in a very efficient way, if that makes sense. Just a genuine masterpiece. I never tire of how 0:40 synchronizes with the music
I don't know if you've watched _Arcane,_ but it has the same level of dense, visual storytelling and subtle details (just spread out across 9 40-minute episodes). If you enjoyed this trailer (which you did), I really recommend _Arcane._
Selma Moncef The Timothy Olyphant movie was done pretty well IMO and I've been a Hitman series fan now for more than a decade. I refuse to watch the newest Hitman movie because it seems as if it's exactly what you said. The writers just made a generic action movie with cgi effects and try to make Agent 47 look cool, hence the trailer.
He's genetically modified human not superhuman it is possible to run continuously with good high intensity workout and strong will nothing is impossible
It's crazier than that, he runs 6 miles in 36 minutes, that's 10mph average speed! If you want to compare it to something doing that speed you would do one lap of a track in under two minutes which some people struggle to do without running another 6 miles
You shouldn't worry because there's nothing you can do about it. You would be very attracted to 47 in drag because he would go all in on it, having mastered the art for the very situation where he would need it to perform an assassination. That's the whole point of the beautiful models that look strikingly like 47. Get you asking "wait, is one of the models 47?" and that sure, if that was his plan to complete the kill, then 47 would be that beautiful a woman.
+Arshad Nazran It's 26-28min. And a master, used to cold and lots of hill work, would run in like sub29min in pretty much any conditions. For one, I was surprised, that he's so slow actually. Weird choice of the track to set a PR idd, but I actually know ppl, who run much faster... And he's not a real human, a genetic clone designed to be a perfect killing machine. Wouldn't be surprised, if he ran sub25min. Really strange, that he's on an amateur level actually.

I love the last part of the trailer. The shot of 47 face as we see him being tired and taking breaths. After that his face goes from tired to basically emotionless in just seconds, showing that he is not human, but a clone. Designed to be a perfect killer. Plus the music helps, making that vibe feel stronger.

I love Hitman cuz there are so many ways to assassinate ur target, u can poison him or strangle him stealthily or just blow everyone up. There are so many choices and each choice changes entire game.

Season 2 maybe. Unless this part was an early version of Sapienza. You know, before the developers really knew how Sapienza would play out, and yea, I got Contract vibes from that part too. Reminds me of that dead girl part during the Meat House mission. Contract was a dark game, but still pretty good.
I think that was supposed to demonstrate Jordan Cross in the mission club 27. If i recall correctly he had a girlfriend that he presumably killed (by an accident in the final product). He is also an artist. At the time of creating this trailer, the devs were not certain of his actual profession and they left him as a photographer. In the final game, he was a lead singer. The connections are quite close honestly.

Being an assassin. 1:58 He died because Agent 47 poisoned that wine. 2:02 2:01 He died because Agent 47 put a bomb under his clothes. 2:08 1:55 He died because Agent 47 shot him with a sniper rifle. 2:07 2:04 He died because Agent 47 shot him with a silenced pistol. 2:09
RoniusMaxed I think the guy found the bomb in the his briefcase(hence you see his panicked and disbelief digging out all his cloths), while the fashion guy got shot in the head by that sniper rifle. Personally, while the gun tilt is awesome, the coolest part of this trailer is a much subtler detail: his VO2 max. After running his fastest time, he's obviously breathing hard, but the true sign of fitness is how quickly you can recover and return back to a normal heart rate. It takes him seconds to go from labored breathing to stoic and calm again. That's dedication.
Sektion9 It reminded me of the Ghosts album by Nine Inch Nails more than the chemical brothers. The trailer for the documentary Citizen Four is the kind of thing I mean.
If it's being done by Jesper Kyd, of course its going to be awesome. He produced the soundtrack for the entire Hitman series if I'm not mistaken. He also composed music for Assassins Creed and Borderlands.
While I’m glad to see IO branch out into other games like James Bond, and to let Hitman rest a bit, I can’t wait till they come back to 47 with new ideas and build off of the last 3 games. They’ve found a winning formula for sure.
Hitman should never end just like Crash Bandicoot, Resident evil, Final Fantasy etc. Plus there are load of beautiful country and places to explore through a mission. Egypt, Spain and Malaysia for example.

Xendrus Idziak What it shows is a series of hits being set up, (the fashion designer standing onstage after a show, a snuff filmmaker [?] finding a girl and taking her to his room, 47 entering a winery [?]) followed by 47 executing the hits (sniping the designer, breaking into the filmmaker's den, presumably after he killed the lady, and shooting him, poisoning the wine, blowing a bomb), interwoven with footage of 47 training.
So, we have Viktor Novikov in the fashion show, a beta Silvio Caruso (no goatee beard) getting poisoned in his lab, a beta Claus Hugo Strandberg (hair clipped short) and a creepy photographer that we still don't know who is he. Shame the cases of Silvio and Strandberg you cannot replicate them (poisoning Silvio's wine in the lab or planting a bomb in Strandberg's case). I'm really in love with the music on this trailer.
I just love this soundtrack. How it starts out somewhat upbeat, and slowly turns more sinister with 47's breathing becoming more pronounced along with the beat. Like a predator finally catching up to its prey.

Well, I had a thought after the ending of Hitman 3 that in this trailer we can just see 47 running from Diana’s hut. The suit is the same, the place is nearly the same.. But well, Idk if that’s true or not...
Always loved this trailer. It's greatness is in the details. What looks like a man just running, until you take in the details. Sub zero tempetures. High altitude. Heavy clothing and boots. Rough terrain. Then you see the run time, and realize it's six, sub 6:00 minute miles with all the above included. Then he takes the hood off and regains his composure and breathing in less than 10 seconds. That's not human, that's something more. The mission snapshots are nice too.
I love how much detail there is in this trailer. It truly typifies the "show, don't tell" principle of storytelling that rewards repeated viewings. (Plus, the direction is top-notch.)

I love Hitman cuz there are so many ways to assassinate ur target, u can poison him or strangle him stealthily or just blow everyone up. There are so many choices and each choice changes entire game.
Still waiting for that serial killer character taking pictures of dead bodies. That felt distinctly "Hitman: Contracts" and was what I was most looking forward to playing.
Season 2 maybe. Unless this part was an early version of Sapienza. You know, before the developers really knew how Sapienza would play out, and yea, I got Contract vibes from that part too. Reminds me of that dead girl part during the Meat House mission. Contract was a dark game, but still pretty good.
I think that was supposed to demonstrate Jordan Cross in the mission club 27. If i recall correctly he had a girlfriend that he presumably killed (by an accident in the final product). He is also an artist. At the time of creating this trailer, the devs were not certain of his actual profession and they left him as a photographer. In the final game, he was a lead singer. The connections are quite close honestly.

RoniusMaxed I think the guy found the bomb in the his briefcase(hence you see his panicked and disbelief digging out all his cloths), while the fashion guy got shot in the head by that sniper rifle.

Dude runs 10km at a professional level pace through random snowy mountains then gets back to a resting heart rate in like 5 seconds.
He was a genetically modified clone so that kinda makes sense

Personally, while the gun tilt is awesome, the coolest part of this trailer is a much subtler detail: his VO2 max. After running his fastest time, he's obviously breathing hard, but the true sign of fitness is how quickly you can recover and return back to a normal heart rate. It takes him seconds to go from labored breathing to stoic and calm again. That's dedication.

If it's being done by Jesper Kyd, of course its going to be awesome. He produced the soundtrack for the entire Hitman series if I'm not mistaken. He also composed music for Assassins Creed and Borderlands.

This trailer have "STYLE". Games these days have better trailers than movie trailers.
While I’m glad to see IO branch out into other games like James Bond, and to let Hitman rest a bit, I can’t wait till they come back to 47 with new ideas and build off of the last 3 games. They’ve found a winning formula for sure.
Hitman should never end just like Crash Bandicoot, Resident evil, Final Fantasy etc. Plus there are load of beautiful country and places to explore through a mission. Egypt, Spain and Malaysia for example.
They ain't done yet.

Xendrus Idziak What it shows is a series of hits being set up, (the fashion designer standing onstage after a show, a snuff filmmaker [?] finding a girl and taking her to his room, 47 entering a winery [?]) followed by 47 executing the hits (sniping the designer, breaking into the filmmaker's den, presumably after he killed the lady, and shooting him, poisoning the wine, blowing a bomb), interwoven with footage of 47 training.
Creators of this trailer can sleep easy knowing they have created a masterpiece.

So, we have Viktor Novikov in the fashion show, a beta Silvio Caruso (no goatee beard) getting poisoned in his lab, a beta Claus Hugo Strandberg (hair clipped short) and a creepy photographer that we still don't know who is he.
Shame the cases of Silvio and Strandberg you cannot replicate them (poisoning Silvio's wine in the lab or planting a bomb in Strandberg's case).
I'm really in love with the music on this trailer.
I guess we'll see the photographer dude in the Japan episode. USA episode or episode 5 will take place in an oil refinery.

I just love this soundtrack. How it starts out somewhat upbeat, and slowly turns more sinister with 47's breathing becoming more pronounced along with the beat. Like a predator finally catching up to its prey.

After playing Hitman 3 I like to think that 47 in the snowy mountains in this trailer IS the same as the ending.
It is, ioi confirmed it.
Always loved this trailer. It's greatness is in the details. What looks like a man just running, until you take in the details. Sub zero tempetures. High altitude. Heavy clothing and boots. Rough terrain. Then you see the run time, and realize it's six, sub 6:00 minute miles with all the above included. Then he takes the hood off and regains his composure and breathing in less than 10 seconds. That's not human, that's something more. The mission snapshots are nice too.
