Love Cannock Chase videos as I grew up around there in the 1970’s. The Black Eyed Children were known about back in the 70’s around the Brindley Heath area. We camped out on the Chase quite a bit, mainly around the Brocton area. Never saw anything unusual apart from a big black cat, but it could be a bit unnerving when the deer came to check you out during the night
I love cannock, the place is absolutely amazing. Each time I go it feels different but the same if that makes sense. I'm determined to capture the black eyed child on camera
@@davecparanormal Some personal stories that may interest you. From 1973-1978 I worked at a truck repair dealership situated on the site of and using the buildings of a disused colliery. I’m pretty certain from memory that the colliery tunnels went under part of Cannock Chase. It’s the only place I’ve experienced where we used to get crazy paranormal activity on a regular basis. I’ve often wondered if the experiences were connected.
@ianwhitehouse2487 I have read there are a few old mines beneath cannock chase. I was interested in finding out and exploring them but I'd be 100% convinced they'd be sealed up. I bet there are a good few paranormal tales from the mines. Would be nice to at least get into one part way. That's something I'm not prepared to try though alone
@ The tunnels at this mine were bricked up in the 1960’s. I’m not sure if the buildings are still there, as I moved to Scotland 25 years ago. The craziest building was the old building where the winding gear and tunnel entrance was situated, it stood on its own well away from any other buildings, the whole site surrounded by a 12 foot high fence. It was very common to hear whispering as soon as you walked in, like full conversations going on. The underground cellar where the tunnel entrance was would sometimes fill with a white mist and you could hear someone tapping on the other side of the bricked up tunnel with a hammer.
@ianwhitehouse2487 wow definite paranormal going on there. I'd love to do an investigation there even if I couldn't access it, the surroundings will have so much energy. Brilliant and thank you 👍

I too saw something go across behind you because you were talking to camera at the time it looked light colour i thought there is a rd behind you and maybe a vehicle
Hi Sharon, I couldn't see cars at that point where I was as the road was lower, but I did see something white drift across in the distance, very weird. I need to return there again as I believe there are many things to be uncovered there
Dave, take a flask of hot Bovril with you on your winter investigations to fend off the chill. My 40yr old Daughter has recently informed me that they are moving house to a place called Brocton which is on outskirts of the chase I believe, so if you see a dog walker with two black labs, that will be my daughter in the near future.
