Once u install them you pump the brakes so the pistons in the caliper come out and pushes the pads against the rotor.once the brake pedal if stiff release it and the pads will be release off the rotors also
Hi Patnuvi , Just did brakes without tool . thanks for video. Just take a blunt tool and push pad from inside hub and it will push against spring and slide pin in .
If the pads are loose like that when reinstalling the caliper, what keeps the pads from constantly rubbing on the rotor?

When you apply the brakes the pads touch ..when you release the brakes the pads don't touch
Is your truck a 2020 Tahoe and did you need spacers for those huge calipers to fit ?
No this is a police package vehicle ..no spacers needed came from factory that way
Try not to let the caliper hang from the break line. Keep an eye out for that. 👌🏽 overall good video :)
Caliper was supported by a large zip tie so I don't hang

@Nazaard Abdool yea I wS doing that at first... now I just pull both springs at the same time..less struggle
Where you bought those brake caliper brother?
Those calipers and rotors is for the police package ..not for regular tahoe
What are the part numbers of those 6 position calipers.
