They used a clip of Joe Piscopo as Frank Sinatra
They said "Joe Piscapo"
19:39 "expanding upon the original Joe Piscapo performance"
@@TheAgentAssassin yea but then they KEPT showing Joe over and over. Barely two clips of Hartman and only one sketch. Hartman played Sinatra in multiple episodes.
@@TheAgentAssassin Piscopo
@@abrahamesparza01
I google it first too and the one of the first links said "a" , oh well my bad. I changed it.
John Belushi as Joe Cocker is legendary! (Saw it live, as a six year old.)
As a kid, for a time, I thought John's performance on SNL was the origin of the song.
It wasn't till later, that I found out it was a Beatle song Joe Cocker covered at Woodstock.
Eddie Murphy as Stevie Wonder???
HILARIOUS!
Thumbs up for including Gilda Radner one of my favorites from SNL of all time! RIP, Gilda and Gene (Wilder).
The Liza Minelli sketch is so silly and cracks me up every time. ☺️
Telling Stevie Wonder that his Stevie Wonder impression is the worst Eddie's ever heard is probably the funniest part about that bit
Maya as Beyonce and Kate as Justin are perfect!! Make me laugh every time!
The Frank Sinatra parody with Stevie Wonder is really done by Joe Piscopo, not Phil Hartman.
The Alanis and Billy Joe one cracks me up so hard 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kate Mckinnon does the best Justin Bieber impression of all-time (IMO). 😊
Not SNL but MadTV Debra Wilson as Whitney! #1
MadTv had great performers. Better than SNL in most of them.
How could you not have Ellen Cleghorne as Natalie Cole, doing "Unforgivable--Natalie Cole sings along with some of her father's dead friends"?
That one was one of the funniest SNL skits I ever saw. I was literally rolling on the floor laughing with that one.
The Tammy Wynette impersonation on that one "I am not dead. This is how rumors get started. Cut it out! Bitch!" had me fucking howling with laughter.
@@gfear24 Right! Because Cleghorne (as Cole) would repeat what "Wynette" was saying, but Cleghorne was singing it! As if it was another song to sing along with!
Hysterical!
Melissa V is low-key one of the best modern day impersonators
I guess they would have mentioned Bill Hader's Lindsey Buckingham if they hadn't run out of time.
😂😂😂
I just love hearing you explain SNL to me instead of just watching the videos myself. And my comment isn't dripping with sarcasm.
This is so over explained. Her voice cracking drives me nuts too.
I never comment on Mojo before but y’all mess this list UP!!!
Jay Pharaoh should have been number one, jay-z, Kanye, pick one. Sounds and raps just like them if you close your eyes.
Fred should have been number two just for being BOLD ENOUGH to imitate Prince and KILL IT Every time. Who else doing a PRINCE impersonation???
Adam Sandler as Eddie Vedder
Ya'll included Jimmy Fallon as Mick Jagger but didn't mention Mick Jagger as Keith Richards!
I always loved the audition for movie sketch with different short celebrity impersonations Bill Hader as Alan Alda is hilarious
Surely the best SNL parody impersonation ever was Kristen Wiig's brilliant send-up of Ann-Margret.
Favorite line from the Sinatra duets skit: " Hit the bricks, honey. Your money is on the dresser."
Where was Melissa Villasenor as Dolly Parton?
Ariana Grande did some good impressions in the shy intern sketch.
The Joe Cocker bit was awesome and not a comedic parody. It was a perfect impression.
“1990s star Allanis Morisette.” I don’t know if I should be more offended by the into line or Apple’s Autocorrect.
It’s not Saturday Until WatchMojo post a Saturday Night Live video
They should do another countdown like this, but with mad TV 😆
Why on earth would you dis Phil Hartman’s Frank Sinatra by throwing in Joe Piscopo??? Come on!!!
definitely kate McKinnon as Justin bieber
Nobody:
Eminem: 🔪
Me: 😂😂
😕The narrator talks more than playing the parodies… Geez.😏👋🏾
Yep !!!
Don't like it go watch something else instead of complaining
@@CandiceViditodont like what they said just scoll on instead of all this then eh
Yeah that's standard for MsMojo - WhatCulture does a better job of showing more and talking less.
Yeah i kinda use these videos as a way to make a quick playlist to check out the full things. So, they are useful for that at least.
I LOVE it when you when you break the Progress Bar into segments. Please, WM, do this every time! I often want to watch a segment again. Your contributors are just so good. Please, please, PLEASE!
"Dueling Cockers" remains one of my favorite SNL parodies since the show started back in '75. Cheers....
Chris Farley did a hilarious Hank Williams Jr!
My favorite will always be Lucy Lawless (host) as Stevie Nicks for the Stevie Nicks Fajita Roundup.
That’s TWO different Sinatra performers: Phil Hartman and Joe Piscobo.
11:45 no way Kristen Wiig was in Season 17 😂
One of the best, was the Mick Jagger impersonation of Keith Richards, with Michael Meyers as Mick Jagger. LOL
Fred Armisen is my spirit animal
A medal to Mick for having plenty of good humour. he belongs in the list of the famous that are funny while playing along in SNL sketches.
Also a shout out to the now late Joe Cocker. RIP to both him and John Belushi.
The narrator sounds like the lady at the airport announcing things over the intercom.
Hartman as Sinatra? slow applause..........................great research
You should do a countdown of bart Simpsons chalkboard openings
can you do the top 20 snl actor parodies?
#5 & #7 together were pure magic.
Phil Hartman and Frank Sinatra died on the same year (1998).😏
Adam Sandller doing Aerosmith
A lot of people are writing, "Please remember" various singers. WM pays attention and often they do follow-ups. They're not going to edit a video once it's been published. My two cents. I always enjoy the comments here and learn a lot. 😁😁
I don't think it was on SNL but Jimmy Fallon doing the Dave Matthews GPS was hilarious!
Jimmy Fallon excels in SO many musical impressions. I never tire of watching him. I'm trying again to find when he and Bruce Springsteen "Governor Chris Christie's Fort Lee New Jersey Traffic Jam." If anyone knows where to find the whole thing, please alert me!
Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Linda Ronstadt
Piscopo as Hartman? At least one producer needs to get the axe.
I knew Eddie Murphy had to be #1, but not sure if it would be Stevie Wonder or James Brown. I'm glad that James Brown was at least mentioned.
Melissa can sing!
Ariana Grande as Britnney Spears
All greatness, I love SNL!!!
What about JT as Robin Gibb? Every bit as good as Fallon’s Barry
That's Joe Piscopo. 19:05 he did a good Sinatra also.
I did not know that Robert Goulet was a real person. I honestly thought it was a Ferrell character.
I think that The Late Great Former Chicago Second City, SNL Original, John Belushi, as Joe Cocker, should have been much higher on the list.
Omg 😲 that was hilarious 😂
Hey, that was much fun 👍
good god your voice sounds like tarmac being dug up
Ebony And ivory..
Belushi could really sing.
And I always thought Robert Goulet was the black guy in Benson
Kristen wiig and Jonah Hill in season 17? Hmmmm
Quick math, the show started in 1975 17 + 75 equals 92 in 92 Sandler and Spade and rock etc we're all just getting rolling, Kristen wiig wouldn't be there for almost another 15 years In season 31?!
Carvey’s Dylan is about as good as anyone off the street.
“This gives her the chance to deliver a climactic finish.”
-cuts off before the crescendo
Yeah.
Jim Breuer as Joe Pesci
I miss Kristen Wiig as Ann Margaret
James Austin Johnson as JZ. WTF? That's not even an impression. It's not even worth mentioning.
19:35 That's not Hartman.
19:00 Don't think that's Phil Hartman
I sure wish I could hear the parodies but the narrator won’t be quiet. Bummer because it looks funny
Anybody remember Will Ferrell saying the N word as Robert Goulet?
I’ve actually never listened to Robert G. 4:16
Best comes first? CS doing Alanis is very very funny
Why are you showing clips of Joe Piscopo's Frank Sinatra skit when you are talking about Phil Hartman? Did you guys do any research or just get lazy?
Who is loving his videos
this video would be better if they showed more than a second and a half of the impersonations and then 3 minutes of the narrator
at 19:20 thats not phil hartman
You mixed the Sinatra's sweet cheeks.
No, you didn't.
Peace on earth.
I'm goin' to my hot tub.
Where is Dionne Warwick? You really are missing too many.
Classic SNL was the best. 🎉
How do miss Adam Sandler as Eddie vedder
How the hell do you not mention Will Ferrell as Neil Diamond?
SACK THE NARRATOR, JUST PLAY THE CLIPS ‼️‼️‼️
TOP 10 Ugliest Robots
SNL season 40 was the best
I'm going to remember this next time I binge it. Thanks!
🥉
FFS why talk all over it.
We arent watching to hear your voice all over the impressions, this was pointless , I got 5 minutes in and realised we got 10 seconds of impressions.
So turned it off.
Horacio Saenz as Judge Aaron Neville. Also, Armisen's knockoff Johnny Rotten.
Fun Fact about SNL:
Did you know?
Seventeen-year-old Anthony Michael Hall was the youngest cast member
Is it my imagination or does she look like she's trying to hide a black eye under make-up (left) 15:56.
please edit this.. phil Hartman and not Joe piscopo
This video doesn’t actually show much of the performances, it looks like the parodies are funny but it’s all narrated over.
Wish the narrator would let a lil of the skit play more, she talks wayyyyyyyy too much.
Belushi at 11? That's ridiculous.
Ariana grande
I really wish this was just a compilation of... the top 20 hilarious SNL singer parodies. Not someone talking over them.
