Best part about all this is that so many people worked so hard to bring the C&C back to life lock, stock, and barrel. Now everyone from the world round can go and see a unique piece of Southern Pacific/ Western Railroad history!

Thank you for sharing this. I have a tie and few spikes that found on Montgomery Pass. The old roadbed is easy to see on google earth. I've camped twice on the old roadbed. Beautiful country and worth the trip, especially to the Museum at Laws.

    I can't believe my eyes!
For 30 years Ive only found scant accounts of this R.R. I never saw it run. But the rails were still in place at crossing the 395 fr. Way. And here i see it like never before! Wow.
    Amazing.
Thank you for sharing. Love this forgotten narrow guage r.r.
But why does the video just end?
Kinda like this line i guess.

I have this tape in my collection, and only the ending bothers me; there's no end card or concluding remarks. Just the concluding facts and a fade out. Are all Sunday River Productions videos like this?

May I also inform the viewer that this R.R. was a desert road.Brutal weather conditions. Cold in winter, and temps in the 100's in the summer.
Great historical facts in this video. But do you have a date when this was taken?
