Himeji has been under repairs for a long time. The just finished the reconstruction of Tokyo's Marunouchil Station which has lasted 3 years. Can't wait to see it in person next year.
Himeji Castle was used in the James Bond film "You Only Live Twice". If you'd been around in those days ('60s...) maybe you would've been selected as a Bond Girl!!
So... a beautiful girl, with an obvious intellect, likely an interesting personality, makes well put together videos and lives in Japan... Guess I have no choice but to sub XD
I went through there in early August and there wasn't much to see. But in late September they finished all the reconstruction!!! The outer shell of that station is nothing like the inside by the way... maybe it was because of all the construction? Anyway I wasnt feeling very well at the time and swore that then entire building shook when a train comes by.
So cool!! Looks like it was a ton of fun!! XD I really want to visit Himeji but I was hesitant to due to the reconstruction efforts going on. Despite that, was it still worth visiting? :D I'm excited for the next video!! If I ever visit Himeji, I'd totally visit that temple too! :D
Amazing Micaela Blade!! And Tsubota-san's gear looks great, too!! Yes, the teeth and the mustache on the mask are for threatening enemies. The mustache can also help a rookie pretend to be a veteran. At 2:06, I don't understand the "!??!???!?!" yelling part, either. Could it be "Shuttatsu 出立"? lol Not sure.

I thought that too. That's really awesome. The Last Samurai is my favorite film so its really nice to see where some of it was filmed. I definitely want to visit this area now. Where is Kansai in Japan exactly?
I want to dress as a samurai. I think it would be so cool and it might help with my Kendo if I could get in touch with my inner spirit and connect with the past and traditions I learning in their modern form.
That's awesome. This will sound soo stupid, but I think now I know how they got the idea for Link's hat from The Legend of Zelda....from ancient Japanese warriors (2:04 and 2:09). Am I right lol? Hey if I'm wrong, at least it's a fun thought.
