First take out refrigerant and completely check the leakage point n repair then charge again by vacuuming the system

Cannot we simply use epoxy or spray paint ?

With metallic texture plastic will do insulation and heat will not b able to go out from coil

@@TechnicalGuruKazmi Thanks for your prompt reply sir however I would say the thickness of epoxy or paint enamel is in microns and doesn't introduce insulation or hamper thermal conductivity. It's all theoretical. I have done it 3 years back and has been doing fine at least upto this day. Secondly plastic is not good thermal insulator. This confusion arises out of its ELECTRICAL insulation qualities. Plastic melts on heating which leads to wrong conclusion that it is a thermal insulator. Use it and reap the benefits.
