Honestly my heart burst into joy when you mentioned singing... I haven't fully overcome negative thinking/thoughts but I discovered if I sing myself(gospel songs) to 'stupor', as In repetitive thinking, I feel light, the asphyxiating choke hold of those negative thoughts dissipates, one thing I also noticed is this, if negative/immoral thoughts start to 'ascend' my consciousness, somehow at the faintest background of my mind, a gospel song plays so silently, I think it's akin to what the scripture says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, the means of escape, so it just hit me now! - that was my own means of escape always there, the still small voice of the holy spirit wanting me to SPEAK OUT LOUD, as opposed to allowing Satan to borrow my mind to him to think his thoughts. I started this year with severe anxiety. I struggled with negative thoughts. It hurt physically. I couldn’t eat. I lost weight. I had acid reflux. Devil would tell me I had a chronic disease. And I would start feeling symptoms of whatever he said I had. It was several loud voices in my head saying the worst things at once. I wanted to die just for a moment of silence. The first thing God did was give me the gift of tongues. Because I could barely form words of my own. I was tired. Then I started confessing scripture to counter a thought. Devil said I was mentally ill. I said ‘I have the mind of the Christ. ‘For God has not given me a spirit of fear…’ etc. I played christian music out loud 24/7 for days. I stopped following anything on social media that triggered negative and wicked thoughts. I aligned myself with Kingdom people. Via social media and in person. I try to give God the first fruits of the day. by talking to Him or reading Psalms 23 as soon as I wake up. God’s been so faithful to walk with me. For the first time in a long time, I don’t wake up with a racing heart. Taking thoughts captive is so important. Thank you for this video ❤️

The confession of what you believe to be true as it is written is truly a weapon against the deceiver who's always hiding in the dark whispering lies and spreading misinformation first about God and then about the new "you" in Christ. We truly overcome by the power of Jesus' blood and the WORDS of our testimony. This is really powerful if we can but fully grasp what that means.
