You could have used the bat until the spaceship crashed, got the Alen Blaster, used that to get the Striker or Broadsideder. Or an easier route would have been to just let Danse clear out Arcjet and get the Junkjet coz for the rare times the bat actually sends people flying, it's basically just a baseball bat.
I didn’t want to use the broadsider or Junk Jet because I figured I probably will use both of them in future runs, and I skipped the alien blaster because it’s not technically unique
@@aGH0UL fair enough, there's the Hubs alien blaster but the deliverer is still a stripped down 10mm pistol with a silencer and a legendary effect you can get in game. You could have used the Grognak axe tho, I think I'd rather run through Hubris Comics than Jamaica Plain 😬
@laernulienlaernulienlaernu8953 still have multiple ghouls that would rip you apart, and the lock on the display case that houses the axe has an advanced lock on it.
@@doomerboii730 they're lower level, advanced locksmith is only 1st rank and you can't be attacked while picking the lock, plus you can stay hidden until the display case then run past all the ghouls for the costume and exit via the roof.
You could have picked up the tattered field jacket from one of the bodies in Jamaica Plains for some early armour. Granted it's only one point, but that's still better than nothing.
Personally I find the railroad’s characters to be a little annoying, as well as there quest line basically just being the institutes with a few extra steps.
Most fallout fans, and gamers in general, tend to have a conservative-libertarian streak. IMHO the railroad are seen as basically the woke faction and people consciously or subconsciously are often repelled by them. I personally like the ideals of the railroad, but not necessarily the practice.
I can understand not using unique power armour such as the overboss set, quuantum etc. because of both the dificulty in getting them and the fact they require fusion cores which aren't unique. However, a decent armour upgrade might've been to get the Silver Shroud armour, which gives almost double kellogs defence bonus as well as 1 agility 1 perception and 15% less damage from humans.
Excellent video, fun idea. In the future, you could benefit a lot from showing off clips of stuff you talk about, such as batting Abernathy's cat, or the vertibird crashing into you.
Deliverer plus Kellogg's revolver is absolutely broken. Deliverer let's you build up the crit bar in a single VATS, then using the crit on with Kellogg's revolver refills your action points. Repeat infinitely.
I would've just went and got big Jim melee weapon that has the crippling effect its guarded by like 5 low level raiders so you could spam stims run in grab it and leave
Railroad is far better than the evil bos(who i always unlive without a second thought starting with Danse and end with destroying the blimp and unaliving every life but the cat's), as well as unaliving the evil institute. Guy think's murdering innocent people is fun... He would fit in with raiders, bos, and institute very well.
From what I can tell, the big reason people tend to hate the Railroad is that their quests are boring and tedious for no real reason. It's one of the two "morally good" factions (the other being the Minutemen) but the Railroad's end-game faction quests are basically The Insitute quests with extra steps. Additionally, fighting Brotherhood Knights is HARD unless you're exceedingly overpowered, not that that's an issue unique to the Railroad.
Is it actually unique under the guidelines he spoke of? Isn't it essentially just a pipe wrench with the legendary kneecapper effect? You could find one of those on a corpse.

The Junk Jet isn't unique, there are actually two, one in Arcjet and one from a random encounter
You could of gotten the minutemen generals clothes it has better damage resistance that Kellogg’s clothes

Technically, your fists are unique weapons, so you could use them until you get an unique gun.
Watching that raider ontop of the bridge get sent for a home run was one of the funniest things i have seen in fallout and i dont even really know why
