Lemme give some examples- badampati (it is made with gud(jaggery) and badam.), then gaja (its too sweet so i don't like it and dad cant eat coz diabetes u know) but she does make poda begun (baingan ka bharta) which only she likes when dad has night duty...... I have learned from my parents that for kids u sacrifice a lot but its yr partners duty to also look after each other and hr choti choti khusiyon ka v khyal rakhna....

I really do respect my priorities. When I came to my in laws house after marriage there was no custom of buying snacks or packet noodles here. So when i tell my husband to buy that everyone just stare at me like i was asking to buy something very expensive. So i understood that here people don't buy anything like snacks. But I continued buying things i like to eat. Also i started sharing that with my in laws. Now, whenever they go out they try to buy snacks for me. Moral is there is no need to change our likes and dislikes after marriage. Let them change their attitude and arrogance to decide what should their daughter in law should do pr eat. 😎

Yeah my mum is same. Thats why dad sometimes buy some stuff only my mum likes. Lemme give some examples- badampati (it is made with gud(jaggery) and badam.), then gaja (its too sweet so i don't like it and dad cant eat coz diabetes u know) but she does make poda begun (baingan ka bharta) which only she likes when dad has night duty...... I have learned from my parents that for kids u sacrifice a lot but its yr partners duty to also look after each other and hr choti choti khusiyon ka v khyal rakhna....

I really do respect my priorities. When I came to my in laws house after marriage there was no custom of buying snacks or packet noodles here. So when i tell my husband to buy that everyone just stare at me like i was asking to buy something very expensive. So i understood that here people don't buy anything like snacks. But I continued buying things i like to eat. Also i started sharing that with my in laws. Now, whenever they go out they try to buy snacks for me. Moral is there is no need to change our likes and dislikes after marriage. Let them change their attitude and arrogance to decide what should their daughter in law should do pr eat. 😎
