I love this band.. ❤ I'm super excited to go to the show in Boston June 24th & June 25th. Saddens to know this is their final tour. But I'm very GRATEFUL to be going to the show. ❤
@@MScal0316 Nope, just tired of seeing them with such low energy. It's nothing like the old days and even has gone downhill the last several years. Just funny to see people get all excited about a band that has lost it's edge.
Last time I saw The Grateful Dead was right here at The Forum, and they opened with the same song! Jerry singing lead! No doubt he would happy about what these boys are doin'
Matt is referring to the guitar tone not the voice. Bobby’s guitar sounds like crap. I don’t know if his tech is deaf or he is but it is definitely twangy shrill. Plus he’s way off what everyone else is doing during the jam on Shakedown from a rhythm standpoint They need to do something about both of those things.
Why do we all have to pretend it doesn’t sound like absolute shit? Love Bob… but it sounds awful. His playing is whatever these days, he sounds great vocally

I used to sell embarrassing Bobby buttons on tour in 80 outside radio city, I was way ahead of the curve. Should have bought bitcoin. I live in echo park, didn’t know they were even in town. Fare thee well was the last thing that was I could bare going to. I caught the rainbow in the sky show. Dead and company? More like the old man bob and Mickey duo. Enjoy.. they need the money Bobby’s kids.
Why do the camera barely show Bobby? Is Bobby doing ok? That 5/8 show the band sounded so good but Bobby sounded a little off vocally. Made me worried this whole “final tour” is him feeling his age. He is obviously an old man at this point. It’s just too much for this music and period of time to end. This music will live on forever but without Bobby it’s a sad bookmark.
I’ve been listening to the Grateful Dead since 67. I won’t miss dead and company. At all. Hopefully the rest of the guys keep their solo stuff going. Keeping the music alive is one thing but keeping it of life support for the dollars is another.
I don't care what anyone says. Any night these guys are playing is better than a night they're not.
Yeah. But it's time. Its fun but im there more for the crowd these days. The music is just too slow and there are increasingly better options.

I’m grateful that this is their final tour. It’s about time they hung it up.

Shakedown tour opener?? I'm here for it!! 🤙

Starts at 🏁 23:23⚡
This is a fast Shakedown by D&C standards.
That was the best sound mixing you have done so far. Keep it up.
Great to be hearing from you August West Il😂❤
Going to KIA Forum tonight. ONE MORE SATURDAY NIGHT! BOBBY PLEASE! ONE MORE SATURDAY NIGHT!
So excited for tonight!!! Will miss this so much!💖
Sounding great!
Man, I'm really going miss this when it's all said and done. ❤🎉😢🌹
Slow roll me into the twilight, that was magnificent 😊😊
Not usually a Bobby tone critic but maybe the rest of the band finally sounds so good that it's what sticks out most to my ear. Bit shrill there Bob.
You must be listening on shitty speakers, cause Bobby sounds fine on my AT headphones.

@@tramer76 Voice was good. Guitar sounded no bueno to me. But just the start of tour.
Cat scratch Bobby. His playing on Eyes was painful… there’s no defending it.
31:55 Wow fabulous variation of Shakedown and wish we were there live.
I Agree... Play On!!!
EUGENE 2018 GO DOWN ONE OF BEST OF THIS ERA , STEP IT UP B4 THE GORGE
John brought his headphones back.
Is Bill Kreutzman not with them at Inglewood? Bobby sounds great. Mayer looks gorgeous. I'm stoked!
He's not with them period on this final tour. He dropped out or was asked to drop out. Creative differences? Dunno.
don’t care if this iteration is, the music will never stop
what's the problem haters? Music sounds good, crowd enjoying themselves
Slower and more blues sound, but can’t wait to see them again in a few weeks!!⚡️💀✌🏼
I'm just getting home from the show...they wherefkng amazing!!!! And those green gels are too😅
MICKEY'S ROCKIN' IT!
Bobby’s guitar is shrilllll
I was wondering if he switched out his guitar and pick for a blackboard and his fingernails.
Just kidding, love you Bobby!
No different than the last handful of years
You think this is bad, try listening to Wolf Bros where it’s just him on guitar. Holy shit
Might have to start calling it "Bobby's Bike Chain Guitar"
Is oteil on trip tonight?
Boy, that first 23 minutes was great. WTF?
Anyone know where I can get pajamas like the ones Mickey was wearing?

Yeah, but Bobby is seven years and seven months younger than Phil… Works out and meditates. Go figure.
I been saying for years. Bobby please take some time off! He never stops! Not healthy for anyone!
I was hoping for something that'd evoke a little energy.
Didn't you say that on a past comment???
