Hello this Mojo on the Navajo Reservation. I’m hoping to get into the EMT recruit for the tribe. I have been reading, learning my mile markers, being we live in a rule dirt road and highway. I have been teaching myself as if I’m a EMT personal.These videos have been very informative. Thank you.!

I’m getting ready to pay my tuition. Thank you so much for these videos, your helping my confidence a lot. I was terrified to apply because I’m not that good at many things, hearing that this is an entry level position and that the school teaches everything I feel so much more confident. Your awesome man
@@jrRene294 honestly id recommend you take the course mainly bc its not only helpful if you want to be a firefighter but also the course itself also does a lot of hands on activity(id say its maybe a 60:40 when it comes to textbook learning to hands on)

@@mclovinlife4018 just write down the key points and go through RUclips or some online classes for extra training cuz they explain it better online( better in the fact that it is a video and you can rewind it back and hear things you couldn’t irl)

I’ve got one more year of high school then planning on going to school to become a paramedic. Do you know which classes is needed in college to become a paramedic? The school I’m planning on going to has so many courses and I’m not sure which is needed
All you have to do is get enrolled into a community college EMT course, and depending on the school you might just get accepted after applying or they may have you take a very basic high school level test to get in. Then you’ll finish the EMT course and have to get Nationally registered as an EMT. I say and many others would agree that you should work as an EMT for at least a full 1-3 years before going to paramedic school. To get into paramedic school you may have to take a 1-2 semester anatomy and physiology course before you’re able to get into paramedic school but there are some schools that don’t require that. Then youll apply to paramedic school and either youll just get accepted or you may have to take an EMT level test before you’re accepted. Then thats it. Paramedic schools about 8 months to 2 years long and EMT school can be 1-4 months long. I hope this answers your questions.

They let u do it at 16? I was 17 but they only let me in bc I turned 18 the day class ended
