The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
    family.
Thank you so much for following along on this journey. Your love and support help me so much.

Me and my partner are 79 years old and he is in memory care. I went to a singing event they had and they asked for requests. I said “Can’t Help Falling In With You” by Elvis. I cannot get that song out of my head since I saw your wedding ceremony. I then stepped back because I thought it may make everyone so sad as they were playing some of the corny tunes of our day like Love Potion #9 and Hey Good Looking. The singer said that is a Good Valentine’s Day song. Well during that song one lady was crying and I felt so bad as it was my request. After it was over I walked over to her as some others did and she said her husband died 2 years ago and it just hit her. She had been married 49 years and it made me think no matter how long or short a relationship it is okay to cry because we have to be true to our emotions. My partner and I met each other at our 45 th reunion school reunion. And now we are in this situation. Just makes you think how precious life is and even though we usually don’t leave this earth exactly at the same time no one can take away our memories! Now and in the future!

@@t.n.h.ptheneohumanpatterna8334 That's your choice/opinion. However, please do explain what spamming the comments section** with the same negative & inflammatory comment is achieving?

Looking at this rationally & objectively - if it's merely an opinion then surely you wouldn't feel the need to repeatedly spam.

It comes across as callous, bitter & nasty towards a freshly bereaved person. This is especially so when that bereaved person has watched/experienced their loved ones decline & death.

Seriously, does it make you feel superior to be so unnecessarily spiteful toward someone who's grappling with their grief whilst trying to support his children through their heartbreak?

IMO, metaphorically "kicking someone when they're down" makes you appear to be devoid of empathy & compassion & makes any discussion or opinions you have moot.

I had a love just like yours Kyle....I lost him 2 weeks ago today...we were best friends too. When he was dying he said we didn't have enough time together. I told him We are both 70 and we're together for 61/2 years. But they were the best years of our lives for both of us. We finally found that pure kind of love that people long for. We finally made it in life. All we needed was each other. And he said yes and that he was very greatful for the time we did have but he didn't want to leave me alone. And yes it hurts, it's hard and very sad....I have to remind myself everyday of the love were shared and still do..forever, love does not go away just because we can't see them....thankyou for sharing your story Kyle, you are a very brave man and a wonderful husband and father. This was my comment that i left on my page What a beautiful yet sad love story ...
I've been following this family's videos for quite a while because jenny was beautiful and brave andcfunny and in love ...she started filming her life once she was diagnosed with cancer . She filmed everyday and documented everything for her young children to see when they got older ..and for us her followers to understand cancer and not to be afraid of dying or living ...she truly was a beautiful person and it's so sad how there love story ended ...with her death ..even on her weakest days she still filmed everything to help her kids cope and her husband she really prepared them for her death..she made him promise to continue to film after her death she wanted a teaching moment about how hard grieving was ... and that's when I felt connected to her videos cause I had just lost my love Randy ..and I thought watching them would help me heal ...which I suppose has help me with the grieving process..but omg I'm so sad for this man .he's such a sweet guy perfect husband perfect dad who's still really missing his wife .I think most of us can only dream to find a love like they had ..and I thought I'd share there story in case anybody else is having difficulty grieving go back to when she was alive .her story was captivating as she was. her children are so sweet big brother Ellis 7 and little sister Winnie who's 4 ... there videos of them trying to live life without there mom / wife are so sweet of them trying to navigate life without her ..I pray for him that one day his heart will be healed as grieving the loss of your partner is very painful ..as I have same pain .he's such a great story teller and he's trying to honor his wife by continuing to film there love story ...and he continues to film for his young children that will one day watch these videos... he's so sweet and respectful to his wife and his role as a dad it really makes you root for him as he tries to carry on without her ..like I said sad but beautiful...and she wanted her story SHARED ...so here I am giving Jenny appleford what she wanted ...Sharing her story ...and a reminder to all of us to LIVE LIFE ...As beautifully as she did
Rest in peace sweet girl you gave your family the tools they needed to hopefully be ok ...and for the rest of us to live our lives like Jenny did ...and once you follow her earlier videos what a beautiful story of love and bravery ...that she shared with us all ..
AMEN ...for those of us that are grieving our partners in life there's a little something extra in the videos just for us ...strength that we didn't know we had ..Enjoy ...how can you not feel compassion for this beautiful man who simply just loved his wife ...you can do this Kyle...

Oh my gosh Kyle. This is the most amazing and sweet story. Thank you so much for sharing! I loved all of it. What a beautiful way to honor your Valentine Jenny. Some of it I knew from watching the videos but wow... the love and how long you've been together is amazing. You were just teens....What a true love story. I could watch this over again, but may cry again. The reason I watched your channel to begin with is because of what I saw in you, Jenny and your kids. Just pure love and even during a most horrible health crisis. I'm so sorry you don't have Jenny anymore. I'm not gonna lie, I'd love to see her in a video because you all to together is what I was interested in. The happy times... I had a rock to paint for you when I was in Eugene to sent for Jenny's garden, but my step mom wasn't in the mood to paint. I'll get one off soon. Your love story is beautiful Kyle. Thank you for sharing and Jenny would be proud. You're doing so good. And if every you are not doing so good, please feel free to reach out directly to vent, or cry or yell... Hugs to you and your family.

Go have a good cry when you feel the need. It cleanses you soul. Go out in a field and hollar to Jenny and cry. You will feel such relief. Jenny will always be in your heart and soul. You two were so good together. Love like this is beautiful. Chin up. Prayers!

That crazy overwhelming grief...the kind that comes in WAVES from missing a loved one....is because she is right next to you, Kyle. I am convinced of this! She was with you on Valentine's Day.....
