I love that you are putting an emphasis on learning and expanding your knowledge. One of the most amazing things about Dimash is how he uses his music to absolutely smash through barriers of all kinds, connecting people from all over the world. I became a Dear in April of this year and the impact has been incredible, including how much I have learned about and fallen in love with his country thanks to him sharing his deep love for Kazakhstan. I have been taking Kazakh lessons since August, I have a dombra being finished in Aktobe city as we speak and I'll be taking lessons to learn it properly in the New Year. My five-year-old is also learning Kazakh with me and is a Dear, I teach preschool and my students are hearing and learning Kazakh every day. I am finishing earning my teaching degree with a plan to eventually live and teach in Kazakhstan. I am also the Oregon State Chapter Leader for the Dimash USA Fan Club and we are constantly looking for ways to give back to our community and share Dimash's incredible talents and wonderful values with as many people as we can. Marcelito is good but Dimash is on a level of his own! Marcelito only sings like it was originally done but does not put his interpretation on anything. Dimash sing covers with his own flair and makes it his masterpiece. No one is able to sing Dimash’s songs though. Marcelito doe not move when he sings while Dimash does. To me, Dimash is The Best there is or ever was; with all the things he is able to do with his voice,,,,, from top to bottom! Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. The phrase „Sleep, child, sleep“ is sung in the musical as the character bends over the corpse of his girlfriend, who has committed suicide. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. No, Dimash is incomparable. You won't find anyone singing in 7+ octaves. Not only does he reach the tones, but they are of the utmost clarity. Dimash sings in a wide variety of genres (opera, neo-classical, pop, jazz, rap, folk ...) and does it well. You can find songs of him in 12+ languages as he sings for his fans all over the world. Agree. If we liken Marcelino to a toddler who can walk well and skip as well, then Dimash is a sprinter, a marathon runner, a gymnast and vault jumper, a dancer, a skater and an acrobat and then he invents a sport where he combines any of these with some incredible new skills.

Like others said, he is his own. Never seen or heard anyone like him. Nothing against Marcellito but Dimash is more than just switching voices. The more you react to this guy the more you will understand why Dimash is often called the greatest singer ever. Has anyone heard Marcelito sing in his own true voice? I have only heard him imitate the original singers so he sounds exactly like them. (i.e. imitates Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, etc.) As far as I know, he is a grand mimic of other singers even though he can switch between men and women singers. If no one told you it was Marcelito singing, you would assume it was the original duet performing. Strange that I never hear that mentioned due to the "he can switch voices" comments everyone makes. Dimash only sings in his own voice whatever vocal range he decides to use. We can always recognize Dimash's voice along with it's great artistic mastery of dynamics that is unique to Dimash.
@@bejewel4669 I watched a vocal coach recently said that even if Dimash changed his vocal colour or tone, he still kept it sounded like himself. He doesn’t mimic other voices but makes his own. There are Tenor Dimash, Baritone Dimash, Soprano Dimash, etc.

He just goes through the entire spectrum of his voice from baritone to tenor, countertenor alto to soprano. I love that you are putting an emphasis on learning and expanding your knowledge. One of the most amazing things about Dimash is how he uses his music to absolutely smash through barriers of all kinds, connecting people from all over the world. I became a Dear in April of this year and the impact has been incredible, including how much I have learned about and fallen in love with his country thanks to him sharing his deep love for Kazakhstan. I have been taking Kazakh lessons since August, I have a dombra being finished in Aktobe city as we speak and I'll be taking lessons to learn it properly in the New Year. My five-year-old is also learning Kazakh with me and is a Dear, I teach preschool and my students are hearing and learning Kazakh every day. I am finishing earning my teaching degree with a plan to eventually live and teach in Kazakhstan. I am also the Oregon State Chapter Leader for the Dimash USA Fan Club and we are constantly looking for ways to give back to our community and share Dimash's incredible talents and wonderful values with as many people as we can. Marcelito is good but Dimash is on a level of his own! Marcelito only sings like it was originally done but does not put his interpretation on anything. Dimash sing covers with his own flair and makes it his masterpiece. No one is able to sing Dimash’s songs though. Marcelito doe not move when he sings while Dimash does. To me, Dimash is The Best there is or ever was; with all the things he is able to do with his voice,,,,, from top to bottom! There is another artist that you might want to check out also; exciting to watch and another genius in how he is an artist! He is Hua Chenyu (pronounced Watchin’ you).Start with: Nunchucks, Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Jackdaw Boy, Black and White and Bullfight. Dimash is an intelligent man out of Kazakhstan, 6’3”, entered music school at age five, is now going for his doctorate in music composition. He plays 9 instruments and sings in 16 languages, speaks Kazakh, Russian and English and still learning Mandarin Chinese, he is only 29 years old and his fans are called Dears. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers.
His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far).
He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how.
Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this.
His concert in September 23, 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong.
He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills.
He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. The man who often plays the kobys in Dimash’s performances is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it.

if 7.7 octaves. He began his classical/operatic vocal training at age 5. He was around 27 in this video. and now ag 29. This only gives you a taste of his true abilities. He is stunning in everything he does which also includes modeling men's clothing, being a model for highly expensive European cars..
Dimash is also into Taekwondo, swimming, kicking around a soccer ball and riding horses up in the beautiful mountains of Kazakhstan. Marcelito is a good singer but Dimash is unique! It is not only his range, the most important is the emotion, his performance! Dimash had master a lot of different vocal techniques (he began studying he had 5 yo) and he uses all them to give you not only a song but an experience! Hug from Brazil!

No, Dimash is incomparable. You won't find anyone singing in 7+ octaves. Not only does he reach the tones, but they are of the utmost clarity. Dimash sings in a wide variety of genres (opera, neo-classical, pop, jazz, rap, folk ...) and does it well. You can find songs of him in 12+ languages as he sings for his fans all over the world. He is an operatic tenor and universally trained in pop/jazz and composition. And his qualities as an entertainer are very great. In addition, he is extremely human, which stands above all.

I am a fan of Marcelito Pomoy, and I say this with all due respect, but Marcelito cannot hold a candle to Dimash. They are not even in the same universe musically, technically and performance wise.
Agree. If we liken Marcelino to a toddler who can walk well and skip as well, then Dimash is a sprinter, a marathon runner, a gymnast and vault jumper, a dancer, a skater and an acrobat and then he invents a sport where he combines any of these with some incredible new skills.

Like others said, he is his own. Never seen or heard anyone like him. Nothing against Marcellito but Dimash is more than just switching voices. The more you react to this guy the more you will understand why Dimash is often called the greatest singer ever. Not just in singing but also in musicology knowledge, composing, playing instruments, arranging, etc
Has anyone heard Marcelito sing in his own true voice? I have only heard him imitate the original singers so he sounds exactly like them. (i.e. imitates Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, etc.) As far as I know, he is a grand mimic of other singers even though he can switch between men and women singers. If no one told you it was Marcelito singing, you would assume it was the original duet performing. Strange that I never hear that mentioned due to the "he can switch voices" comments everyone makes. Dimash only sings in his own voice whatever vocal range he decides to use. We can always recognize Dimash's voice along with it's great artistic mastery of dynamics that is unique to Dimash.
@@bejewel4669 I watched a vocal coach recently said that even if Dimash changed his vocal colour or tone, he still kept it sounded like himself. He doesn’t mimic other voices but makes his own. There are Tenor Dimash, Baritone Dimash, Soprano Dimash, etc.

@@DaybombTV The difference between Marcelit and Dimash is that Pomoy deliberately switches between female and male voice, Dimash never does. He just goes through the entire spectrum of his voice from baritone to tenor, countertenor alto to soprano. Of course, in the soprano, his voice already sounds more feminine, but at the same time it retains a little masculine undertone, so it sounds so interesting and unique. Both Marcelito and Dimash were born with great talent, but Dimash has been abnormally trained since childhood, so he controls his voice (and is still developing) like a virtuoso of his instrument.
