Much respect for all of the Pavey family and those that help them run the ORS - Neil and Chris are both awesome instructors! You'll learn a lot and have an excellent couple of days on these courses.
Great Vid , Really enjoyed the format. And this presenter should be doing more Videos. You have to hand it to Simon for his long term commitment to adv riding and training. He has been doing this a long time and its clear her gets great personal satisfaction from seeing people progress. He is a true master of the sport.
Proper offroad boots squeak, just listen to Simon’s! Seriously though, better protection generally means greater restriction, and some loss of comfort. I never could get used to my Sidi Adventure boots because they restricted my movement too much and I lost feel. I know my Gaerne balance oiled don’t offer the same protection, but I can feel the controls much better and move more quickly, which makes me more confident. It’s a trade off.
Fantastic video. Maria is great at interviewing. Please please please more videos like this. I liked the content at the end about the gear and what to look out for. 👍👍👍
I liked the interview and discussion of gear, but disappointed there was no mention of ECE standard for helmets, and CE Level 2 certification for gear. I'm BIG on standards like that, and always start there when learning about new gear and helmets.
Hi BWX, Unfortunately this was the last of parts, but keep an eye out for more over the year. Maria is attending Ron Haslam's Race School in May, so they'll be another video in this sort of style then! Thanks for tuning in, MCN :)
Most definitely. Don't forget Maria is also a new rider, so off road is also a great skill to encourage those who are relatively newer to the two-wheeled life in general. Thanks so much and keep commenting and watching! - MCN :)

This series is the best MCN have done. It looks, sounds and feels proper professional!

Definitely one of MCN's better video mini series..things. Appreciate it!

Very well done series!
I really loved this, thanks for doing a great job!
Excellent mini series more please :)
Is there a part 3 coming? That ended sort of abruptly.

Maria is great!
Really enjoyed these..👍
Great video. I see plenty of women in the deserts of SOCAL tearing it up. Riding offroad well is about learning the proper skills, not chromosomes.
