LA School Visit With Pau Gasol and MySafe LA

Lakers Power Forward Pau Gasol joins up with the LAFD and MySafe:LA to promote fire and life safety at a public school in Los Angeles. The Lakers star is a spokesperson for the program and take the fire and life safety message seriously. His role relative to helping kids take the safety message home cannot be understated.
MySafe:LA is a unique non-profit, public benefit fire and life safety organization. We work closely with fire departments, including the Los Angeles City Fire Department - teaching fire safety, prevention, as well as important life safety topics.
We teach people CPR and use of an AED.
We participate in developing training content for firefighters.
We teach elementary school children how to be Junior Fire Inspectors.
We create amazing community events.
We canvass Los Angeles communities, installing FREE smoke alarms to people in need.
