  • Teaching English in Thailand comes with many challenges, one of the trickier challenges to overcome is that of the teaching license, so I thought I would make it the topic of this video. I wanted to try and give you an overview of the teaching license for Thailand and a bit of a guide to dealing with the often tricky situation.

I started teaching since last year but because I had to change school ,so I used my first teaching license for only about 3-4 months and then got 2nd TL for the new school... how many more chances do I have?!

I'm on my 4th waiver already, which will expire next year in October. I do qualify for a 5-year license according to the regulations. However, my graduate diploma in teaching isn't accepted by the TCT.
Next year, if I don't get a 5th waiver, it's gonna be game over and I'll probably move to Malaysia to teach. More money to be made there and their MoE ain't as strict as in Thailand. Hell, they might even my accept my diploma, which was obtained through a real, well-known Filipino university.

It's licence. When you have a licence you are licensed.
