You are so talented, I'm sorry someone tried to silence your talents for their own selfish purposes.

Your tone is so perfect and clean. You interpretation is soulful. Much success in your career. Psychopaths are scary people because they are hard to identify until the damage is already done. Sorry you went through such trauma but very glad I was able to hear your talent anyway.

Stunning. I confess I've never thought much of the clarinet. You just turned me into a fan. Well played, Sir. Kudos.

I can't say I'm much of a classical music fan, but that was amazing! I'm glad you succeeded despite being nearly ruined by your ex. Great to see you still becoming what you dreamed of.

Justice has been served. Now he plays in the Toronto Symphony and she is making RUclips videos of herself playing along with accompaniment tracks in her basement.

Wow.Just wow. This was sooo beautiful! That awful woman was of the devil trying to silence a gift from God. But this is an example of no weapons formed against you ever prospering... always remember that. I look forward to seeing you excel further.

Ok so I just got done reading the whole story on CNN, and what I don't get is why would his girlfriend intercept and interfere with him getting the scholarship? The story said "they broke up months later for unrelated reasons." which suggests they were together at the time she perpetrated her fraud. Was she afraid he was going to move away? Or a jealous sociopath? What a tragic story but Mr. Abramovitz deserves a tip of the hat for his incredible mercy and forgiveness, as the CNN story quoted him saying he doesn't harbor any ill will towards her.

From what I read, I think it said that she thought he'd leave her if he was accepted. So yes, likely that he'd move away. Also, yes she's likely a jealous sociopath as well. 😳

You are so talented ... I am so sorry to hear you went through such trauma
"To sum up, I am very frustrated that a highly talented musician like Eric was the victim of such an unthinkable, immoral act that delayed his progress and advancement as an up-and-coming young musician and delayed his embarking on a most promising career."

At that time stamp, Abramovitz played the original manuscript in which Copland wrote the clarinet up to a very high C, which Benny Goodman was not comfortable playing. The more common edition performed was published in 1950, with the clarinet only going up to an altissimo A.

It is customary for a solo artist for a piece such as this to be singled out in front of the orchestra.

Jim Brown, you are extremely ignorant -- though I guess no one can fault you for that. It's human nature: we are all ignorant about stuff until we get off our butts and learn about it. However, what's embarrassing and inexcusable is how proud you seem to be of your ignorance. Grow up.
