House Roof Cleaning / Moss Removal [ MOSS KILLER ]

  • So yesterday we were removing the moss from another property's roof.
    This customer again opted for a roof soft wash, so first off we had to remove all the moss before then applying a biocide treatment (moss/algae killer) via our soft wash machine.
    Once the biocide treatment has been applied the roof will then self cleanse over the next few coming months and stay moss free for many years to come 😊

    Wow! Fantastic clean. Enjoyed the close look of moss scraping and treatment application. Great job guys!

      Thank you. Scraping roof isn't my favourite part of the job but they do look great once the treatment starts to self cleanse the roof over the next few weeks, It makes a massive difference.

    Great job cleaning the roof, but without a preventative method like copper roof tape, the moss will just keep coming back. The copper tape releases ions that create an environment where moss and algae cannot grow.

    • @Jetowash
      @Jetowash  4 месяца назад

      No need for a copper tape when post treated with a quality biocide

    Whats the type of ladder you guys are using on the roof

  • @Namaste3004
    @Namaste3004 3 года назад +2

    It looks very exhausting if you pre-clean or scrape the roof by hand and it certainly takes time. 😯
    The long suction pipe for cleaning the rain gutter is great and I haven't seen it before! Cleaning is so more effective than by hand on the wobbly ladder. 😉👌
    How often does the customer have the roof cleaned in this way and how long does the cleaning last before it is necessary again? However, I think that the roof doesn't look really clean at the moment. Approximately how long does it take for self-cleaning to complete? 🤔
    But that's exactly what the customer wanted, even if it takes longer. 😉👍
    You did a great job again ❣ 👏😄

    • @Jetowash
      @Jetowash  3 года назад +1

      The gutter vac does make clearing the guttering a lot easier and safer.
      To full cleanse the roof can take a few months and if they maintain the roof as we suggest with a re-treatment every 3-5 years the roof will never have moss on again :)

      @@Jetowash Yes, I thought so, you can also see it in the video, the vacuum cleaner is better in every way. It will surely continue to be used now, isn't it? Thank you for answering my questions, now I understand the point of this kind of treatment. ☺️👍

    • @Jetowash
