    How do you clean 100+ Year Old Tiles?
    And what does the inside of the roof look like?
    What about replacing the cement around the capping you've just cracked and blown out?

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  3 года назад

      I wouldn’t use this method on very old or delicate tiles.

    Just a beautiful perfect job! I have searched the internet and home product stores now for years and cannot find something anywhere similar to what you use in your video, and have come up empty-handed. I thought maybe I have to get some of that white plastic tubing and make my own. Are yours home-made? If so, excellent job! I'd hire you, but you are about a million miles away.

    Sorry for the silly question, but why must I clean my roof?
    Is there a functional reason or it is only an esthetic and sanitary motivation?
    Thank you.
    Good job 👏👍

      The moss can ultimately cause damage, and block the gutters. It holds moisture which will freeze in winter and can cause tiles to crack. Once the moss has been removed I recommend a regular treatment of biocide every 4/5 years to keep the roof well maintained.👍🏼

    Great video Ashley your shoulders must be feeling the burn 💪 . Do you block off the down pipes and what do you do with all the moss ?

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  3 года назад

      Yes we block the down pipes. There is a lot of work in the clean up afterwards. We dumped the muck on the compost heap at the bottom of the garden.😃👍🏼
