They DO write anthemic songs. And, every song “grows on you” after some time. Music is subjective. Everyone has their favs. Enjoyed your take on it. 🤘🕊❤️🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️
I really do love all the songs, but my only real quibble is with the order of the songs. I disagree that Satisfied and Burnout being back to back is an issue. I think Burnout is a nice change up and is oozing with Muse influence. But Satisfied coming right after Escapism, however, that feels like it diminishes Satisfied. They’re totally different songs, but there’s enough similarity in the structure and some dynamic elements (the quiet piano parts) that separating them would have allowed them to stand better on their own. I also think HYCAD and Automatic Sun are buried at the end of the album, but at the very least they should be swapped so that HYCAD is the closer. Automatic Sun is a groove song, and it seems out of place at the end of the album, but leading into Consume would lift both songs. But again, those are minor quibbles. I love the sound, and I love the balance of heavy and groove-based songs. The whole thing grows on me with every listen, and that’s what great music does. 🤘⚡️🤘
Hello James! I am still before listening to Keep Me Fed but I have enjoyed your review. At this moment I love Automatic Sun and Hell You Call a Dream (this one is the first song I ever heard from them). All previous albums are great. What is shocking for me. And I also love the spanish songs! 🤘🏻 Have a nice day all Warning fans.
Time and time again they are demonstrating their dominance in the rock and roll market. They are the future kings of world rock and roll. Long live The Warning
You nailed the Spanish pronunciation of QMQ. For what it's worth, I liked Consume at first listening. On the other hand, I didn't like too much Automatic Sun the first time and now it's my fav probably.
Excellent review. Your point about the song order is a good one. I can definitely see HYCAD as the closer, both in terms of sound and to put an exclamation point on the overall theme or cluster of themes of the album. By the way, your pronunciation of Qué Más Quieres wasn’t bad!
If you just swapped HYCAD and Automatic Sun… AS is a groove song, so you don’t necessarily end the album (the set list for posterity) with that type of song. And HYCAD is definitely closer material.
My underdog is Escapism, it really has a very catchy harmonies, it’s simple and effective. I do like Satisfied and have it over others tho, it has its moments like the pre chorus and solo. Burnout is great, but yeah it feels like tried to stay safe and missed something. Still a great song, it’d probably be the best one in other bands albums, that’s how great The Warning is.
Royal Blood is a huge influence on them and is why this album pretty much steals their sound for most of it. But it still works. The yare going to be big. They have been touring for years as well throughout Mexico and Europe. they have the live chops most bands their age lack. They could be a drop in for any touring band out there and kill it.
Keep Me Fed to me has the feel of Rubber Soul, the album where the band starts to experiment with their sound a bit, as with the strong Annie Lennox feel on the verses of Escapism. The one thing I miss on this album is one or two of Pau's ballads. I don't know if there's a deliberate shift toward a single lead singer, but just as with Heart, they have a second lead who could be the lead in a different band, and it only improves their overall sound if they use it. And they are just as effective on a ballad as on a rock-crusher like HYCAD.
Great record all in all!. Yes Sharks is just great fun, one of my favorites. Interesting how many people like Consume, weakest track on the record for me, glad people like it. Good review!
I thought people would like Consume less, but I seem to have been wrong. People seem to really dig it. Thanks for the comment and thanks for checking out the video! 😀
There are some great songs on this album but this isn't their best album. Love The Warning some of the best rock music that's come out in decades. Sharks is awesome, Burnout is probably my least favorite but I do like the video.
Dany turned 24 on January 30th.
Pau does the screams on Apologize
Love this !! Thank you!
@DadQuixote7 thank you for watching 😀

The hottest band in the world right now ..🤘
Yes sharks
Consume is my favorite and it’s Pau saying the curse word
You said well "Que mas quieres" in spanish. Great review, greetings man. 🤘🤘🤘
Yeah that scream is Pau. Sharks is Pau. Love this album and these girls. Sub for you, dude.
Thank you so much, I appreciate it 😁

These girls! C'mon. Best thing to happen to rock music in a long, long time. September 14th. Ram's Head Live. Baltimore, MD. Can't wait!!!!
I'm envious! That's gonna be such a sick show!
Great review 🤘⚡️🤘
Thank you 😁

I definitely didn't think I got it right 😅

@@jase0910 In other respects, the sequencing is brilliant, like the segue from Qué Más Quieres is fantastic
Yes there is, Dany is 24.
Sharks is absolutely incredible

TW. 🤟. Automatic Sun and Escapism for me 10s . Hey what yow know , different Opinions .
pretty sure its Pau who is doing the screaming in Apologize

The entire album is 🔥 but Sharks, Consume, Apologize... OMFG

Glad you liked it. But open up to those you dismiss. You might change your mind. Some songs are meant to grow on you.

Which album do you think is their best?

@@bobmorr2892 Nice! I still haven't listened to that one yet. Gonna give it a listen!
