The Glow Recipe Plum moisturizer has refill pods and I love buying those, they're so easy to recycle🙌 Also, idk where you live, but Sephora recently started taking in empties! Byoma ingredients look great, but the hydrating and brightening serums, and the gel cream definitely made me break out. I really wanted them to work for me as I love the textures and the way they made my skin look. Other than the pimples 😅

it's funny that you say you missed your rosacea when it was 'gone' bc every time I do my make up, I cover my rosacea up and then always end up putting a red/orange blush in the exact spots I have redness. idk why, but despite wanting to cover it up, I usually just end up toning it down if anything. Thank you for being honest about the medicube. I was literally about to be affected by so many only good reviews I've seen over the months and I was feeling weird nobody talk any negative about the product. You definitely earned my trust.
There’s a hello kitty essence that is by crème shop that is basically the same exact thing but smells lightly of strawberry milk and contains ceramides, cica , etc. I don’t see wasting my money on Mrs. Beibers essence . This milky toner by crème shop calms , soothes, gives glass skin and is a thicker milky essence. Exactly everything you described . I love to use it in the morning and if my trentinion irritates my skin. It soothes immediately .
Everything you said during Sunshine and Glitter x Crayola cracked me up today. Solid gold "Jazz berry Jam!?" "The strawberry is starting to smell like bread" "Cuz i don't like to do...things"
personally i have a completely different experience with the medicube boost-r! I have dry AND dehydrated skin and i was struggling with hydration and products penetrating my skin in the first place, and also feeling hydrated all day. In the winter after a couple hours i would feel dry again. This device helped me so much and when I don’t use it I can actually tell the difference
I think it's worth pointing out that if you are using products that have evidence to back their efficacy (e.g. retinoids, salicylic acid, ascorbic acid, etc.) then using something to enhance the penetration is unnecessary. These ingredients have proven their ability to provide benefits without an extra machine to make them work. While getting ingredients to penetrate the skin is a well-known obstacle in getting things to work, that's what cosmetic chemists are for! In addition, if you enhance the penetration of a product that has been tested without that machine, then you can end up with major irritation.
I was just going to buy that Medicube Booster thingie! Been thinking of getting the Air Shot instead since it seems like it does more (the whole microneedling without the needle bit).
So I have their EMS product. It works. And I have a friend that has a RUclips channel and reviews products. She highly recommended the userra deep shoot. It's works deeper but costs more.
I have all 4. The booster one is probably the least important but nevertheless the rest of the devices DO work!! I noticed with texture, pore size, my jaw/jowl area has the biggest improvement.
I borrowed the Booster-H from my friend for a week and it really helped with my eczema around my nose/mouth. After returning it to her it came back so I actually had to buy one for myself 😂
Hi James, love your videos! The medicube device uses electroporation technology (short high-voltage pulses) to enhance permeability of your skin products. The device vibrate slightly with each pulse. I have also experienced sensitivity (red bumps) using this device on higher settings. With some adjustments, I have seen my skin care working better. It’s a great product, don’t underestimate the levels! Hope you reap the results!
I’m so excited to hear you talk about Slurp! I’ve been eyeing them but between half their line constantly being out of stock and having never heard of them-I haven’t taken the leap. Always appreciate your insight!
I’ve been eyeing on Booster H but cannot find the research to back it up. The website doesn’t even what kind of modality it used. You are right, the products are meant to be applied with our hands just fine. Thank you for talking me out of it and saving money!
if you have dry skin you could give it a try since they have a huge sale going on the devices now, it especially helps for dry skin since they struggle the most with the benefits listed by the products, but if you have textured/oily skin and want a different set of benefits you should try the white device. BUT if whatever you're doing now is working just fine for you and you were looking to add these as an emergency product not necessarily to just spend your money then there's no need, just keep doing what you're doing. If you're curious and don't mind the extra devices I think they're worth a try, but they have two different products for two different purposes. Also as an oily skin person you aren't struggling to boost product penetration like a dry skinned person with a damaged skin barrier would have, which is why some don't notice much of a difference because they're skin barrier is working fine. The white device (skin shot) is good for texture, pores and hyperpigmentation btw if that was your main concern. sorry that was a lot 😅

Booster H has a technology that is used for years on medicine, drug delivery… is electroporation ❤ the science is good, electrical pulses open some transient channels on skin and this makes even bigger molecules penetrate … the levels are for higher intensities, not for different product consistency… this works better with water based serums ❤

I've only tried one product from Byoma.. the mist. It felt quite sticky. When it comes to cleansing balm, the best one I've tried is the one from Beauty of Joseon.
“A very pale amount of a lot of makeup “ 😂
the rhode glazing milk is amazinggg i love the glow n hydration I physically feel on my skin
I literally have the Medicube device in cart and was psyching myself into it. You just saved me. 😆
Might as well get the pore micro needle device. I have all 4 but the other devices are truly worth the $
@@ThomasSidwhich the best for pore?
Love these videos! Would love to know the cost of things you try. I mean a 'fairly good' toner would also have to make my breakfast at £29! 😂
byoma face wash broke me out SO BAD and now i’m scared to try the rest of their products
Do you think you could have an updated video on skincare products that help with black heads and those annoying white bumps on the face/nose??? I need it assistance sometimes!
Hey. Yeahhhh sure! Will say straight away, Paula’s choice BHA for black heads and the ordinarys glycolic acid for white heads!
Welcome home, James. Great to have a new video from you today.
The amount of glitter on James's face was hilarious at the end 😂
I came here to see if the MEDICUBE is honestly worth it I’m 45YO I feel like my skin isn’t sucking in my moisturizers I literally have $1,000’s of dollars worth of makeup probably like $4-5k from Sephora & ulta just sitting in the original mailing box Never opened or used I never go anywhere I bought everything with intentions of using it I’m a single mom of 7kids 21,20,19,12,10,7,4 I don’t know why I thought I’d have time for this stuff but I wanna just do my makeup sometimes I lost myself being a single mom I don’t even anger dressed anymore 😢but let one of my adult daughters ask to use my stuff or try & use my stuff & I’m ready for war😂😂😂 Now I do use all my skincare i purchased i research my products heavily because I have trust issues with most influencers anymore & even Dr’s on here because of all the promoting now a days I need scientific proof because of my trust issues 😢
9:36 “I do just wish she wasn’t in a cult”
…sorry what?
I was dying when you were talking about the crayons sunscreen. Honestly I’d be a little afraid the strawberry jam sunscreen would attract bees because of the sweet smell!!
I like the idea of sparkly sunscreen. And I'm old(er).😂
Thank you you are so funny when your tired 😅😂
When u said "Yasberry jam..... what the fug..?!" I thought make this a tiktok sound
put on this video as i started my first cleanse which was coincidentally the byoma melting bam cleanser 😂 - love it so much!
I love the byoma gel cream I’m on my third bottle. I can find cheaper balms though!
I thought the same thing when I heard jazzberry jam. 😂😂😂
I’ve never heard of it before! I’m not sure what it’s even supposed to smell like 😂
hey James! ✨
do you have access to Ziaja skincare? it’s a Polish brand, I would really like to know your opinion on them and if you ever heard of it ☘️
Ive been looking for a real review of medicube so much I got so excited that you posted and I just skipped to that part. How about the other one for pores? If you ever try please let me know ❤
Rhode milky toner reminds me of laneige cream skin toner from everyone's description
And maybe you could try a green colour corrector like dr jart cream for redness? That would look more natural
You're brave putting something that scented on your face. 😅❤
do you think we could get a more in depth vid about devices? i feel like there are so many and i'm not sure what is reputable/good vs gimmicky. would love to buy one for my mum ❤
“I don’t like to do things.” I can totally relate 🤣
That primer made you look like a pearl. 😮
That crayola spf gave such a nice glow ✨ maybe IrL it looks glittery but on camera just looks like LIFE!
I love this honest review! I was curious about Medicube because it keeps appearing in my feed and really want to try it due to positive reviews and I’m glad I came across to your video. Thank you!
just leaving timestamps for moments that brought extreme joy
13:10 next like 60 secs dead 😂
